Talk about competition! I mostly have Google pods in my house and one Alexa. I must say that I like both. The sou d is really good on this.

This product was great for the price and very much well appreciated

I stayed away from Alexa for security reasons as well as my general dislike of Amazon, but decided to try these out once they became available with a hardware mute button, as well as Amazon's making it easier to manage what data is stored on their servers. I have a pair in my kitchen and keep them muted except when I want to perform a specific task (stream Pandora or iHeart, check on the weather). They're just a couple of feet away so it's easy to unmute, perform the task, and mute again. The only downside is that the status ring always glows red to indicate that they're muted. But I've gotten used to that and it's a small price to pay for my privacy. Overall the sound is good enough for simple streaming while you're working, but not good enough for serious music streaming. But what can you expect from a $20 unit?

Love my music and radio and random questions answered and control of the house lights, AC, etc. Yes, I love Alexa.

Echo devices are great. The speakers sound great and they hear better when there is loud sounds better than Google ones

I love my echos. I have one in each room of the house. Being able to play music by the sound of my voice is my favorite feature.

Got this amazon echo for free and we have had plenty of fun adding our devices to it. Makes things super easy when not at home

It’s very helpful when I don’t want to move for the lights or so. I love it so far. It’s been a great way stuff done without moving.

I love the Echo Dot. Alexa is built-in to my Sonos already so there was no need for an additional large speaker. The echo dot it’s perfect.

Works as expected. Would recommend to anyone that likes having Alexa devices.

Sound is better on this dot than the previous generation. If you have a regional accent, better speak slowly and clearly.

The 4th generation echo dot smart speaker sounds great. im not sure if it is worth upgrading from the 3rd gen.

I was not sure that I would like having the dot with it always on. Absolutely love it. Sound is great and the Alexa assistant is pretty good.

These are stable units and easy to use. Customizable and versatile.

This is the second device In the home and the sound is improved over earlier model

Alerts me when someone/something is near that part of the house. Can see, real time, what is going on. And communicate with anyone that is there.
