I Love this Alexa for the price and its decent sound. not the best but is worth it. I usually keep it in the garage hooked up to an aux to a better sounding system, it has access to tune in which is a free radio app and plays my local radio stations or if you get the free amazon music trial that's good too. I also have several inside the house and they sync together to play the same thing like a cheap way to get sorround sound in your house it sounds nice.

This is my second one of these. The best aspect of this generation compared to 2nd generation is the speaker. It is louder and clearer. The physical design also looks better with surrounding home decor. I"m pleased to own this.

Purchased it on sale. Adds a lot of value to our lives daily. Examples: to check the weather, a stock price, listen to NPR news, find out facts about a country, etc. Good quality sound for such a small device. No issues with it staying connected online.

I was very surprised at how well this little thing projects sound. It's literally the size of a hockey puck, but can really do a great job at filling a room with music. Can understand your requests quite well, and very simple to setup and use.

Well worth the cost its convenient n easy to set up n use I synced it to my ring doorbell n now ihear my doorbell no materwhere iam in the house

Had a 1st generation dot and the sound was always kind of tinny. The 3rd generation dot sounds much better. All Echoes (Alexa) are pretty basic on their setup and they do what they are advertised to do.

Installation was very easy. I was quite impressed with the quality of sound coming from it. I didn't expect perfection, but this exceeded my expectations. I love the fact that it takes up very little space as well.

I'm going to get to the chase. This is the BEST speaker I've ever heard for under $50. The functions of the echo along with the music playing functionality and the sound quality makes it a steal at this price point.

At first I was skeptical, then I installed it, and started to use it. It plays music, games, trivia, also sets reminders for me, and I use it as an alarm sometimes. I have 2 more installed and it works great as an intercom system when needed.

After having a 1st gen, this is a nice upgrade in looks! Also very easy to set up. My 6 year old loves asking Alexa math questions and to tell him jokes! I look forward to adding NEST thermostat that I can control with this!

As an addition to our Alexa family this Dot is great for entertaining. I can easily take it anywhere there’s a plug. The sound is very clear. Easy to use. Great outside or in the garage to listen to music or check on things.

The sound on this speaker is absolutely incredible for such a small device. I wish it was cordless and rechargeable but responds well and it great for playing music. Considering getting another one for another area if the house!

I got this as a gift for my boyfriend - who loves music and has every speaker and bluetooth device and headphones on the market - but no Alexa. I set it up for him, and now him and Alexa are unseperable.....not sure how I feel about this, However, when he told alexa he was lonely and needed to talk to someone, she automatically dialed me....so maybe she is smarter than I think! All jokes aside, great introduction to the Alexa collection. Next purchase, I think will be a full size, although the Dot has great audio and is considerably loud despite its small size. My boyfriend even mounted his on the wall, and I'm glad i was able to find something perfect for someone who has everything imaginable and is usually hard to shop for!

Great idea for older folks, they can just talk to it, hear music, ask various questions, and can hook up to a phone and have a safety of "call xxx" if they fall, also hooked up to lights, so they can turn off and on verbally.

The echo dot can do a lot—alarms, reminders, daily routines, play music, jokes and more. It’s like having a secretary in your home. I definitely recommend one because they have a low price,

Great intro into the world of what Alexa can do. It has nearly all the functions of the more expensive models and was actually fun to learn and add additional units in other rooms. The speakers have surprisingly good sound.

I love my Echo Dot! I ask her to play music, tell me jokes, set up my alarm, set up reminders, I ask for the weather, the time, etc. love it!

This device came with the purchase of a Smart TV. I can connect some of my devices and appliances to it. Love the fact I can give commands anytime. It delivers accurate weather and recent news. Gotta have one!!!!

Great sound and sound feed back and connects to my fire tv and fire sticks with ease

Love it! We have one in each room of our house. Great for whole house speakers, yelling for the kids has stopped... now we just “drop in” to get them to come down or ask them a question. So many uses.
