Great new toy for the family. Easy to use,and great for listen to music. If you need better sound hook it up to Sonos.

I received this device free with a TV purchase. Nice freebie. Note this is the 3rd gen not the 4th gen with the dome shape. But even with that you are not missing much functionality, sound quality is the same, this model has a more compact design, you have the same Alexa features available to you on the 4th generation

The sound on this echo dot is WAY better than the 2nd generation. It pumps up really loud and easier to hear too!

I love my echo dot and have it hooked up Bluetooth wirelessly to my projector tv and all my Alexa compatible devices with ease! Also, all I have to do is tell Alexa to control all my devices and components with whatever command I need her to do to them!

Installing the Echo Dot was easy. In fact, it pretty much installed itself. I just had to get it set up on my WIFI, then Alexa took over. I got an Echo Plus for Christmas, and now I’ve added 6 Echo Dots. The Echo Dot does almost everything the Echo Plus does. We installed one at our vacation home and can control the lights from our home, using Alexa. If we are at our vacation home, we can turn lights on & off at our home, giving the impression someone is there. Love it!

I like the Alexa. It’s easy to use and speaks great. I just don’t like that I have to repeat my saying when I request some music artists. Alexa is fun to use when you pay for extra trivia, games and quizzes. Great item.

I have had the previous 2 Amazon Echo versions. 3rd generation device is more sleeker with improved functionality.

The echo dot is a great way to communicate with Alexa. It's small and unassuming but allows you to get some great answers to common questions and control other aspects of your smart home. The 3rd gen looks a lot nicer than 2nd gen.

It does what it's supposed to do. Came free with TV so I can't comment on value. I use it as an extra speaker because I already have a few other alexa devices & they all have screens. Intigrates as well as the others & works as well, just doesnt have the visual features or as good as a speaker as the more expensive stuff, as expected of course

This came free with a Ring doorbell I bought. Was reluctant to get the freebie cause my friends/family either have one or don’t want one and I already had 3 Echo devices but got it anyway. It’s an improvement over the 2nd generation Dot because the sound quality is much better. Otherwise it’s basically just like my other 2 2nd Gen Echo Dots. This Echo Dot is probably the best way to get an affordable smart speaker if you don’t want to go all in and get the main $100 dollar one.

Purchased the 2nd generation ones when they were on sale during the holidays. Was disappointed with the sound quality of those compared to the 2nd gen Echoes I currently have. Was initially hesitant to get this 3rd gen, but after seeing positive reviews about it's improved sound quality, along with a reduced price, I took the bait. Needless to say I was satisfied with the decision! The sound quality has definitely improved from the previous generation! I recommend it!

This is the third echo in my house. There are a lot of reasons to have these devices other than ask Alexa. Having these spaced throughout the house allows me to have music piped through every room without having to crank up the volume. I love soft classical which doesn’t translate as well as rap at high volume. Don’t get me wrong, Alexa is ok. Being able to turn on or adjust lights while entering, leaving or in a room or responding to a doorbell press without having to run to the nearest speaker or break out my phone is also a thing. Having the Zigbee hub built into the show allows me to control my smart home from any room. I also like having cameraless devices in private spaces.

Easy to use for all ages. Great size to be mobile and place anywhere. Easily connect to many products.

Got this as an add-on to my eero mesh wifi. Easy setup and operation with the app. Use it mostly to play music and general info. Really good sound for its small size. Terrific for under-counter or desktop.
