I switched from a HomePod mini to the Alexa echo dot I must say the difference is night and day I wanted to start off small before buying the latest Alexa I can’t wait to update my HomePod mini constantly disconnected from my Wi-Fi and my phone would freeze all the time, I’ve had zero issues with the Alexa she does what I say without any.

Very easy to set up. Love asking Alexa to play music, set a timer and answer questions.

Got this with a TV. It's nice for our Kitty's room. She likes music during the day. Perfect. I don't use it for anything else. Actually, it's cool. I know it's capable of much more. I won't use it for anything but playing music. The sound is really good. I'm serious about the Kitty.

It came with ring video doorbell. It was a great purchase.

Alexa I think the time has come to give my honest opinion on the Amazon Echo Dot. As a user of "virtual assistants", I have just used the Google Assistant, and in that sense I think Alexa's artificial intelligence takes a thousand turns. But be careful, because not all are virtues, and if we go to detail, there are still many things to improve in the Amazon assistant.

So I honestly have been out of the loop when it comes to tech lately. I received an email about this product on sale Xmas Eve, I was going to give my teenage nieces money but opted to purchase these for them instead. One is hard to please the other was very excited about it. My only gripe with this speaker is the fact that it requires it to be plugged into the wall, I mean this day and age seriously. Not a huge concern I guess if you were planning on making a nice setup in your home were you have several of these linked together. They have a nice weight to them, grip on the bottom and the speakers aren't bad. It doesn't have the best bass to it but overall for what it is it isn't bad.

Bought this for my stepdaughter for her birthday and she uses it everyday. She loves to play music on it and she check the weather on it every day to help her pick out her outfit for highschool.

The Dot is a great option if you want a small device to add Alexa functionality to an existing stereo. Of course it also works as a stand alone device with pretty decent sound from such a tiny speaker. Just don't expect it to fill a room with sound.

Great device, great price. Works great. Amazon music could pull up lots of tunes from obscure bands such as Cat Mother and the All Night Newsboys. Docked it a star over lingering cyber security/privacy concerns.

Compact for travel use. Works great with the TV and lamps.

He’s Amazon echo dots are amazing, they work so well and integrate with my smart home devices perfectly. I got this one with my new TV which is a fire stick version, but I’m using this in my garage to Turn on my air compressor which is very hard to reach the switch. It’s so much fun to fill up the air in my bicycle tires simply by telling Amazon to turn on the air compressor. What’s not to like?

I absolutely love this device! The white is a very clean look and the speaker is great quality. Small enough to not get in the way or be an eyesore! Loved pairing this device with the amazon smart plug, made my lights easy to turn on and off using only my voice. Plan on buying more for my home!

Great starter for kids. Easy to use and place conveniently in room. Alarm is helpful too!!

I just recently got involved in making my home a smart home. I went from Simpi Safe to Ring and with the move to ring came a free Alexa Echo Show 5.... It IS HORRIBLE. Alexa can barely hear you on that and the sound was not the greatest. Then this beauty came up for free with the purchase of a Ring Stick Up Cam. The quality is so much better, this Echo Dot can hear me and the sound that it puts out is incredible. I do have to admit that I wouldn't pay full price for this, since it is an Amazon product and it is made to order amazon items easier. I would pay at most $20 for this since you are giving up some of your privacy to the corporation.

I love this speaker! It's small enough to fit anywhere. The sound is awesome!

It’s a pretty good device for your personal use. I have my fan and lights connected to it so I don’t have to get up to turn on/off lights or fan. The sound is very good for a room. Can also be used for small parties
