Superb sound quality for such a small device. I originally bought one of there to see what all the hype was about. I love them and have a few in my house. I am constantly asking it to give me local weather updates, use it as an alarm clock, and listen to music. I even use it to make a phone call on occasions.

I prefer the new ball shaped Echo Dot to this one, but I have found these useful for less used areas of the house. I recently put on in my bathroom to use as a speaker for music while showering and it works perfectly. The sound quality is good enough for how inexpensive these things are now.

It’s like having my own little robot buddy. This was actually included As a free Add on during a Black Friday promo with another device I purchased . I probably wouldn’t have bought on its own, not understanding the working of the device, but now that I do have it I would def recommend it And wouldn’t hesitate to purchase 1 as a gift to someone else.

Bought as a gift. If you already have an Alexa in your home, might as well add more to cover your house as one is not enough. Having multiple of these already, it's helpful to have in most rooms to be able to play music or ask it to perform specific actions.

I started with a second gen Echo dot and I fell in love with it, it's basically a smart device that can control smart devices. It controls my lights remotely anywhere I go, it controls my thermostat in my home, again, anywhere I go. It's my wake up alarm, my weather report and so much more. The 3rd gen here was easier to setup than the 2nd gen, you won't have a problem.
