easy to use and very good sound and because of the size it fits anywhere

This echo that is a lot of fun. The kids love telling it what to do. They play with it as if it is a toy. Great price, economical and it something the whole family will enjoy. I got it even cheaper than priced during The Black Friday sale at my favorite store Best Buy.

I love mine it’s easy to connect to and it comes in handy. You can make phone calls you can send messages you just can ask what the weather is you can ask what time it is you can set alarms you can hear stories and many more. Must have!!

This is our 4th echo in the house. We just love the convenience of one in the rooms we use most. Great price on a small but mighty device with awesome sound.

I now can control lights with Alexa voice command using smart bulbs, I can play music in multiple rooms at the same time. I use it as a intercom within my home, I can drop in calls with my parents, listen to bible readings and I’m still exploring new skills every day.

This is a great little device. I use mine in the bathroom, because I have the echo show set up in the kitchen. When I’m getting ready I can listen to music, very clear, loud, and can also check the weather, etc..., for that day as I’m getting ready.

I love my Echo Dot. It's easy to communicate with Alexa. The sound quality is awesome. I can listen to my music and research information using Alexa as well. I bought two devices for my kids to enjoy. They love their devices!

We love the echo dots and this one is the best yet. Sound quality is much nicer than the previous generation and it looks nicer too. Alexa is extremely responsive and surprises us with her answers from time to time. I’d have one in every room if my wife would allow it.

We had the original first generation dot and liked it fine. This one looks nicer and seems like a great upgrade. It’s got great sound for such a small speaker. Really packs a punch! We’ve paired it with other dots to have house “surround sound.” Great gift. Very happy!

We purchased this when it was on sale a few months back, and it works very good. It is constantly "alert" and ready for commands. We use it mostly to communicate from one room at one end of the house to another, so we don't have to yell at each other. It works great.

Alexa is amazing and compatible devices are becoming addicting! I've now bought more than 8 compatible devices and looking to pick up another alexa or 2 for the house once they're in-stock again.

Bought one of each for my daughters rooms and and light bulbs that change colors. They love changing light, turning them off by voice, playing music while they clean, etc. highly recommended

Echo dot is a tremendous value and The small size make this very convenient for any space. Speaker is ok, but this tiny unit is is capable of all the same features as the regular size Amazon echo. I have 5 of these in each room in the house. Love it!

I have several of these and they are easy to set up and work very well. I got this one to replace one of the earlier ones that was having trouble working.

Never thought I would find this useful. I actually like and use it on a daily basis for alarms, weather, news, phone calls and in conjunction with my Chime doorbell. The drop in feature is nice too. Works as a home intercom.

I used my Dots in sync with my Blink doorbell so that I can hear the doorbell ring anywhere in the house. I then started using it to play music and give me reminders for different things.

This is our third Echo Dot. Will use this one to monitor our ring doorbell that we purchased at the same time. We listen to a lot of Pandora with this Dot too. I have also recently purchased a smart plug to use so this.can turn on and off my lights when I ask it to .

This speaker works just fine, has great sound and is a very discreet device. Even though there are newer versions, this one is a good one to have around.

Like most people I have these all over my house. The newest 3rd generation update improves the speakers both with hardware and by their placement. It does make it a bit more difficult to wall or ceiling mount them though so if that's what you need to do, consider opting for the 1st or 2nd generation versions where the speaker was not on the sides. But if you are just placing it on a desk or table, this one is ideal.

The Echo Dot is a good cheap way to listen to music in your bedroom and control the lights. We all know why it's cheap though, Amazon is listening and targeting ads, etc...know what you are getting into when you plug Alexa in.
