I love my echo dot. I have four of them and they really help make my life easier. It hears you almost all of the time and I've run into very few issues with it overall. I really couldn't ask for a more helpful device.

We love our Echo Dots spread around the house. The missus still has issues remembering it controls most of the lights in the house and does all kinds of cool stuff. I use it constantly though! I could probably afford to learn more of the features though. Phone App does leave a little to be desired, takes forever for it to load up. But I assume that's because its trying to communicate with the Alexa devices in the house.

works as advertised. have all of mine with mic disabled because of listening all this time. but want news weather...hit button and ask...works great. I have 2 dots and two echo's music sounds good on echo's but you can to stereo for house music system use.

Like it, but have to be careful, what you say, had to reset twice, mess up with my Nest thermostat

Bought this along with ring security system and now i use to automate my routine tasks by commanding alexa to perform them. Love the alexa skills and the support from the community! Easy to setup and getting started

Love the quality of the sound and the size. Setup was fairly easy. I bought the newer editions as a Christmas present for my kids and it was a major success! The only thing I would change is the color. I didn't like it as well in person.

I was able to get this Echo Dot at a sale price that I just needed to try it out. I am still learning how and what it can do for me but wife has actually taken to it more than me. She has used it daily to play Christmas music. I would give it a higher star but I am just not utilizing it enough right now. I can see it has potential to do a lot, it will just take time.

if you have nobody to talk to then alexa will make a perfect friend. She doesn't judge any of the weird stuff you're into like tea parties with science class cadavers (or whatever your hobbies might be). Good for a laugh!

I'm 72 and my grandkids of course were the ones to install it for me. Love it I have music in different rooms and every morning I asked about the weather...so now prepared to know what to expect.

I love my echo dot! So easy to set up! This is my 2nd one and it was so easy to make them compatible. Price is great. I Highly recommend.

If you run amazon alexa enabled thermostats, outlets, or any other home automation peice, this works great for playing music, controlling the air, lights, etc!

It's amazing I enjoy using it . I already owned one now so does my son he uses it for just about everything. He thinks me for this item and has recommended it to several of his friends.

A little better than the 2nd Gen dot, looks better. Have one in each room to work with my Alex Eco System. You can ask it questions, control FireTv Stick with it and alerts you when your Ring doorbell button is pushed, with the Ring doorbell skill enabled.

We bought 3 of these and also one for my college students to take to their dorms. It is also great for my 82 year old mother who needs answers to questions quite often. I love that it tells us when the Amazon orders have arrived.

Love the echo dot. Purchased for my son's room. No more yelling up the steps for him to hear or call for dinner. It is so easy to drop in. The setup was easy and connected with no issue to my other Alexa devices.

Bought it to replace an original echo speaker. Wifi seems to be better strength. Sound fills our entire living room and even up to loft above.

Fantastic gadget what can’t it do it simplifies so many things around the house.
