This was a Christmas gift for my home bound mother. She absolutely loves it. It's easy for her to play music, games and get general information by talking to it. The price was great too.

We both love it. My husband is able to ask information when I'm not home to Google it for him. Phone numbers, location. He talks to it all the time.

I purchased several "Dots" that have been placed in my art studio, pool room, three bedrooms, guesthouse and kitchen. My entire property has excellent coverage, including the outbuildings. I'm very pleased with the positive results.

Great product for the price. Works great for lighting choices, can’t wait to get the other accessories. The app is very easy to use after downloading it from the website. And from what I see The echo dot does so much more.

I get it for 20 bucks. I notice that for better sound you need to place it on a very wide surface. If you put it on a small surface (like a nightstand) it will not be as good as if you put it on a table.

Better sound , better understanding, I use it to listen to music, set my alarm, set my reminders and even for the grocery list, it's great!

This was the second Alexa I have purchased and is in addition to the one I already have. It was very easy to add to my account/profile and provides me with music and more in a second room of my home.

Use the Amazon Alexa Echo Dot everyday. So convenient whenever you need something or even an alarm. Would recommend this device to anyone.

The speaker is louder and better sounding but at the cost of Alexa not hearing you. I find myself constantly having to shout 3 or 4 times for Alexa to hear me. Just yesterday the tweeter blew out! Quality has gone down unfortunately because this is an excellent machine otherwise. Previous generation was excellent at being an assistant but lousy for music. The roles have reversed for this generation.

I have a Google home but decided to try the Amazon Echo as well. It was a good purchase on-sale so I'm happy with it. I would recommend especially if you get it on sale. I also got the Amazon stick because that was on sale too.

Our Echo and Echo Dots serve the family well. They are useful as intercoms and ready sources of information, reminders, and timers. We also use them with our Sirius XM all access, Amazon music, and as "radios." The sound quality is very good for the price. The convenience is worth it. The most recent purchase was to have a "portable" to use on the deck, down the cellar or in the garage.

I bought this to primarily control the Samsung TV. They worn great together. I can turn on the tv, change volume and channels as well as all the other voice asst functions. The clock is also a nice benefit

I absolutely love it i can ask it anything and it has a answer i have my light set with it to come on and turn off at a certain time.

I put my first Echo Dot on a whim and was surprised how much I liked it and enjoyed all of it's various functions. I have now bought several for different rooms in my house and am quite pleased with their functionality.

Its a christmad gift and it was for my daughter whose friend had the same one and she went on and on about it, so yes thos is a good buy and I got it for the best price out of 6 different plAces here.
