I just got the dot approximately a month ago. I’m temporally using it in my RV until I move into our new house on 29 Jan. 2019. At that time it will help me with my Amazon system to work with my house lighting, camera security system etc.

This item is such a great item to have out in the main room at all times. Can be a timer, give the weather, play songs, answer most general questions. All that for $20!

I love all my echo dots. They are in every room of my house Alexa controls my household.

well this is my last echo purchase for the time being. I have 3 now and since there are only 3 wake word options, i'll have to wait for a 4th wake word before buying another one. anyway, it's an echo dot. they're awesome.

Echo Dot is very handy for all of the advertised reasons. For basic set up it is very simple. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that when it comes to linking to multiple units, including fire stick tv, fire tv, or smart tv it frequently gets confused with whether to operate the unit, Bluetooth sound, or sometimes disconnect itself. I have to re-pair it to my fire tv about every other day

This is great. I ordered it for my parents (I have the same thing). They don't use the internet for a lot so this helps them to find phone numbers, hear the weather, and much more. They love it!

Live love this!! I am late to the game with these ,but love that i can listen to free music get update on the weather. And the volume is pretty loud

I have several dots around the house including the restroom, a great place for the News Flash Updates. I have them connected so that I can play music all over the house. They work my lights inside and outside the house.

I am a fan of all the Amazon smart echo devices. I own 4 speakers. This one really works well. The sound is amazing.

My kids love playing music while cleaning and listening to stories during bedtime. Amazon provides parental control so it can make it safer for kids to use

Great gift for my kids rooms and they were able to connect it to their televisions. Has everything you need, minus the screen. Great entry level but for a more high level tech consumers it’s enjoyable.

I recently put my paranoia fears aside and started to use Alexa to run everything from my Sonos products to my smart door lock and I'm very happy I did. This little gadget makes things slightly easier and does so while looking pretty cool

Could not go without this device at work!! It’s my saving grace in many ways! The music sounds great and I like the info I can ask it and get a correct answer!

We love our Echo Dot, surprisingly quality sound from such a small unit.

I purchased the Echo Dot to compliment my Echo. I love how easy it is to control things in my house (i.e. lights)... as well as receive information (Flash briefings) away from my Echo. I plan to get more to populate more rooms in my house!

I bought the dot on sale in a package deal with a smart plug. It was a great jump off in creating a smart home. Since I’ve added some smart bulbs and another plug. It’s very easy to setup a use. I’m still finding new ways to use it.

Great product and always on stock at my local Best buy stores.I have purchased one for each room in my house and they sound amazing.

I like how easy this was to set up and use. Looks better then the first generation one.

We bought our Dot in a package deal with an Amazon FireTV stick so we got it for a good price. We use it mostly for setting timers and listening to Pandora. We have been unable to connect it to our Bluetooth Bose speaker but the Dot speaker sounds almost as good. We are not finished exploring what we can do with it and will likely get more smart home devices in the coming months.

Bought 3 of these for my kids room and it has been great. Use it for white noise, alarms, radio and to control the lights in their rooms. kids have a blast with it and since we can control in with our Alexa it is very nice to have.
