This is our second echo. My husband love it to play his music. Sounds good. Bought it and come along with free smart light! Great deal.

I purchased this as a gift for my nephew, and he really enjoys it. They said it was easy and quick.

The Echo Dot is perfect for home automation and perfect for kids bedrooms. Pair it with a smart plug and turn on / off a number of devices with ease. “Turn off the bedroom light” Goodnight!

What a handy little helper she is! small and easily set up, with tons of helpful hands free options. I was very hesitant about having Alexa active in the house but its great!

I honestly cant tell you what the difference is between the last generation other than the very nice new design. This was a gift with a purchase and now i want to replace all of our dots to match!

It’s small and compact. Does what it needs to do. Can hear my voice from afar and speaker quality is what you pay for. Not out of this world but not the lowest quality.

Love the Echo Dot. Easy to connect and use. I use it to control my home speakers, set timers/alarms, and listen to music. Get several for easy multi-room use.

We bought this clock for my husband as a gift. He said he wanted a new alarm clock. The kids decided Dad needed to stay up with technology and needed this personal assistant. It can control the lights and music as well as set individual alarms each morning. It easily recognizes our speech and commands. It can wake up slowly or suddenly. It can play peaceful bedtime sounds to put you to sleep. Sounds of nature are available.

Amazon’s Echo Dot, believe it or not, is in its third generation. It’s been a whirlwind few years for Amazon and its smart devices, as well as for its smart assistant. With the proliferation of Alexa in all kinds of devices, support has pushed the assistant to grow increasingly self-sufficient, lessening the need for additional hubs with Echo devices. So, by its third generation, is the Echo Dot truly all you need?

Works great. I like the look of this generation over the older ones much better. She never has trouble hearing me. I now have one in every room of my house.

I have purchased a few of these over the past few years, some for myself and some as gifts. Alexa is a lot of fun and when integrated with smart devices can be a convenient feature in the home.

I'm having a lot of fun with my new echo Dot 3rd generation. This was part of a bundle with my Ring Pro. Now I would like to have one in each room! Great sound quality for such a tiny speaker.

I’ve never used Alexa but I’m sure happy I got this echo dot she’s great. The sound quality is perfect, and all she can do is amazing.

I LOVE my dot! The sound quality is great, for a smaller room. It gives me all the functionality for the regular Echo, but just a more compact version.

Love the dot. We can move it to any room in the house and listen to music etc. We use it outdoors when the family comes over. The kids love it

This dot offers the user the ability to place in locations that the larger standing model cannot. I like this color because it blends in better with our furniture. Great deal.

I gave it 4 stars as I have not really used it as yet. I already have echo dots in each room of my house and this one came bundled with my purchase of the echo show. Never-the-less, I am sure it will deliver the same, if not better performance as my other echo dots. I will come back and update my post as soon as I use it.

I am a gadget freak and I love this! So easy to set up and use. Makes automation of small tasks a piece of cake. Add in a few smart plugins etc. and you are ready to rock. Easy Peasy!

We ordered a dot and put it in our son's bedroom. We already have quite a few Hue bulbs throughout the house but we plan to add them in his room also. Alexa is a great companion for the home!!
