This is a great speaker with voice recognition that allows you to ask questions and it will give you answers. You can also link it up to multiple devices to operate them. I have used the echoes for a while now and it has become a part of my routine at home.

For the size, I was expecting a lower quality audio but this small speaker is great. The volume and sound coming out of it is actually good. You do have to speak louder if you're at a high volume but there is nothing I would change.

Amazon Alexa was very easy to get set up via the amazon Alexa app. Able to control both using a app. I can make an announcement play through the speakers. I purchased two of these and the app gives me control to play the same thing simultaneously thru both speakers. I would recommend to family, friends and even my enemies.

Got this for free when we purchased our Ring doorbell. It’s pretty cool. I listen to music on it through the local radio station and have connected it to my OurGroceries app so I can just ask her to add things to my shopping list. My kids enjoy asking her questions too. Haven’t really tapped all she can do yet but it’s been a super helpful tool.

I'm very happy with the echo dot. It is a very well made, and reliable product. I like the size of it because it makes it very versatile, thus you can place it almost anywhere around your house to meet your needs. The sound is very clear and potent. Overall, I'm very happy with the echo dot.

This is definitely worth upgrading. Sound quality and volume are noticeable improvements immediately. I have three echo dots and one echo dot second generation. I kind of want to replace all my old echo dots. Visually it’s more pleasant as well. The one negative is that if I do upgrade all my dots, I would need new outlet mounts for all of them.

Bought the Echo dot for my son Christian who is 8 years old to use as an alarm clock...... but it’s so much more, he checks the time, he plays music, he checks the weather. He tells me it his own personal assistant. The sound quality is good and it’s sleek design blends well with his room.

This 3rd generation Echo Dot is nice & compact. It doesn’t take up a lot of room on my living room side table. Although it’s compact, the sound it emits is great! I’ve had this a few days so I’m getting used to it. But I really like it & I continue to learn more on its many uses. Plus this holiday pricing really made me take the jump & buy this.

Major improvements on sound from the original model. In addition, the updated design fits in with any room decor, in a very discreet way so that it’s hardly noticed but always ready when you need it. This is one of those cases where something good has become a whole lot better.

The echo dot is so wonderful and useful to have anywhere you are at home. I love listening to music while I cook and it’s easy to assemble. In my living room it helps with turning on my lights and die my bedroom it turns on my lights as well. Try thr echo dot as a calendar and reminder of things ans it will help.

I wasn’t sure what to expect, but the low price encouraged me to purchase the echo dot. I absolutely love it for the convenience and overall good sound quality. It doesn’t fill a room with sound, but that was never my intention. Good sound, convenient and well connected to my Amazon account.

Its a dot...not many bells and whistles but that's what I wanted. I got this to allow me to voice control my firestick without reaching for the controller. I know..welcome to 2019, we are all lazy. Haha! The design is nice and sleek. Looks great on my night stand. Works flawlessly with my firestick. Set up is a bit complicated, specially if you want to sync it with your firestick but YouTube, you'll be fine. For the price you cant beat it. If you have a Firestick this is a must have. I have a Google home and a Dot, they both come in handy.

great product. my second one, this third gen speaker much louder than the second gen ones. a little too much base in the sound, but found you can adjust that in the alexa app.- now it sounds great. i recomend these to everyone. great price too- got on special for $18, with a free smart bulb.

Great quality sound! It’s like having someone to ask anything, need the time...ask Alexa. Need an alarm, ask Alexa. Wan,t to know the score of the game, what year a certain event occurred, how to spell a word...just ask. Stream music, play games, listen to a story. So many wonderful features! Set up in minutes.

3rd gen Echo dot is well made. Feels solidly constructed. Works just like previous Echo dots but the speaker is improved with a richer sound. Aesthetically it is improved as well with a fabric band and the device itself being more rounded. I’m very happy with this Echo dot and highly recommend it!

So if you are interested in begging your collection of Alexa compatible devices, the echo dot is great to start with. It is small, but has great sound quality. The setup is fairly easy on the app. Alexa has a plethora of functions. I use it often to play mind games and printing activities for my children.

This was the best design, That whole sphere shape was a bit on the experimental side and was a mistake to go into the mass market. I recommend picking up this model if you are looking for an Alexa as it is the most compact and most compatible with all room styles.

Compatible with the most home automation products, responsive, and cheap! There is even an Alexa skill you can add to start your car in the morning (requires a more recent model Ford vehicle with Sync Connect). Highly recommend the echo/alexa eco-system if the primary purpose of a smart speaker is to make your home "smart" and convenient.
