I bought this for a gift and they love it and very pleased doesn't take up much room sounds clear

Love Alexa and this echo dot provides good sound and it doesn’t take much space. Also, it is cheap so you can add one in each room of your house.

It’s a great product to have in different parts / rooms of the house if you want to setup smart devices. Kids also have fun with this. Super easy to setup and like the sound with such a small size

found this great deal during Christmas. I cant seem to see any different between this only and its bigger brother. Cant have a smart home without one of this.

I am truly impressed with the sound this little device can put out! I have the original Echo device and the sound on it was excellent. I would not put the quality of the bass on the dot compared to the Echo but not bad, not bad!

I really enjoy being able to ask Alexa to play music, give me the status of my orders, etc. it is easy to set up and has a really good sound when playing music.

This is such a fun and useful gadget to have in your home. My grandkids love to play with Alexa, ask her question and joke with her. I love her in the kitchen to ask the weather, check my calendar, etc while my coffe is brewing.

I loved my "Little Dot" so much, I bought one for my mother-in-law for Christmas. I cannot tell you how much i appreciate the Shopping List feature. I use it several times a day. "Alexa, Add Milk to the Shopping List, Add Butter and Bread, Add Toilet Paper to Sam's list" We have a small 1 bedroom house w/ Basement, but I can yell from anywhere in the house for her to add things to my list, and she is always able to hear me. And, I dont have to worry about "forgetting my list at home or in the car" because the list is always on my phone in my Alexa app. She has made my everyday life much easier, and I am so thankful for her. I know its weird that I talk about her like shes a person, but it feels like she is sometimes, when you're alone and you ask her, "Alexa, How are you today?" And she answers you. And playing 20 questions with her is fun too. Okay, I'll stop bragging about her now.

Great speaker, i love everything about it except that i have to keep it plugged in to use it. Im not sure if its just me that cant use it but LOL its a really good speaker over. very good sound and stuff.

very easy to use. alexa can make your life so much easier. she will tell you wat to cook today. if you just ask. she has recipes. bought to listen to music.

The echo dot is easy to set up and very convenient to use to get needed information I. e. Getting weater and sports updates. I use it with an external bluetooth speaker to play music since my main system recently went down. One thing the echo dot does well is put out good clear music for such a small unit. Only con is trying to play the unit speaker while paired to 1 external speaker.

Love it! We put it in the window sill when we sit outside, giving commands through the window screen, hands free. Alexa plays the music we love for hours. Great little gadget!

The setup was very straightforward. In terms of its operation, the device has excellent sound for its size, great connectivity to third party apps and excellent understanding of what you say to it. Can't recommend it enough.

Took advantage of the pair for $50. We have an Amazon show in the kitchen. We use these in the bedrooms. They work great for info, weather, news etc. Good for music. As an alarm. Work with voice calling with your smart phone.

I purchased this for my nephew for his birthday. He’s so amazed by Alexa and the voice recognition. I have one myself and I’m pretty impressed with it as well! Setup was nice and seamless.

While this is larger than the previous Echo Dot, the rubber like material on top and the mesh wrap around is a step up. The sound quality and increase in volume level is what I found to be the biggest improvement... That said, I feel that there is no true mid level volume. My experience is that if I’m looking for that “sweet spot” it doesn’t exist, as it’s either quieter than I would like it to be or louder than I would like it to be. I did purchase two Dots for one room for the purpose of stereo sound. This is where I believe Amazon fell short. For the last few years, I have been able to use a pair of very inexpensive Bluetooth wireless speakers at the same time for listening to music from my cell phone & laptop. With the Dot, you are limited as to what will play in stereo and what won’t. I feel as if I have taken a step back in time with respect to technology as relates to this issue. My only other hope for future Dots is that they make them waterproof. Again, I have wireless Bluetooth speakers that I can attach via suction cup to my shower wall. I’d like to be able to take advantage of the smart home I’ve created, forged on the foundation of the Echo Dot when I’m in the shower, or anywhere there might be water. Bottom line, for the price you can’t beat it. Amazon has made improvements. I am hoping for refinements with the next generation Dot.

I'm very pleased with the echo dot. Very easy to use and the sound is just what I'd been hunting for . The price was very reasonable for such a nice gadget. I would purchase another one .

Got this for my dad for Christmas and he absolutely loves it. It's easy to setup and use and the quality of it is super good considering I only had to pay $30.
