I own the Echo Show the echo dot 2nd generation and 3rd generation recently Echo dot 3rd generation is louder in volume they all have good volume and fantastic sound good qualities would recommend

This Echo Dot was purchased on sale so I think it was a great value. The quality is very good with the sound much improved over the 2nd generation Echo Dot. It is a feature packed small package.

First, I'd say to never buy these. They seem to give them away for free all the time (when bundled with a actual purchase like arlo lights or ring cameras). With that said, even if you do buy them, wait for them to be on sale because that happens all the time. We love these products. No they dont have amazing sound quality, but they work great to create a smart connected home. They are a low profile and affordable way to put alexa everywhere in your house so no matter where you are you can issue commands to trigger routines or functions, check weather, facts, or to send messages. We use bigger echos to pump out higher sound, but we place these in rooms we dont use as often to help create whole home audio when cleaning or hosting. Theres plenty of in depth reviews about what these can actually do, so to keep this simple and shorter - they're easy to set up, easy to use, and offer amazing quality for their intended use and personally helped me realize the benefits of updating the house to a smart house - I first started with two dots, and now have several shows, echo plus, smart plugs, locks, bulbs, and cameras. The dot is a gateway drug!

This Echo Dot works exactly as advertised. Easy to use and sounds pretty good considering how small it is.

Great product. It plays music, set reminders, use it as alarm, do Google and Amazon reviews. I would recommend to anyone who wants a multi-use home assistant.

This was an excellent buy as well I love that I can as Alexa to play music my grandson loves to ask questions to Alexa so it’s great I would most definite buy another one.

I got this for my 93 yr old mother who has severely limited vision. She loves it because she can talk to it and it answers her. Her vision is so bad she can't read a clock or calendar, so she just asks "Alexa, what time is it?" Or "Alexa, what day is it?" and it tells her. Also she can ask about the weather and listen to music of her choice through it. It is a great aid for the visually impaired, Been thinking about buying another one so we can use it as an intercom. I know there are a lot more things we can do with it, but for now its great to have just for my mom!!

Love this thing. We have 6 of them now. Enjoy being able to listen to music or ask the time or weather without lifting a finger. We use them with smart plugs for lights as well. Definitely recommend them.

This is my fourth Echo Dot purchase. Love it, so convenient and compact. Perfect for a side table or end table and the volume is great for listening to music or podcast.

The 3rd gen Dot is worth the price when on sale. The sound coming from this little device is amazing for such a compact system. This is perfect for an office, dorm, or bedroom. "You Won't Be Disappointed!"

Easy to set up and decent sound quality when playing music. I partnered my Echo Dot with Wemo outlets to power on my house lamps via a simple voice command. Lots of possibilities with the Echo Dot.

One of the best things to use Alexa for is to update a non app enable receiver. With Amazon music or SXM, you can now use Voice command or an app to play music through a legacy sound system. Pretty slick.

I had a 2nd gen echo dot and bought one of these to replace it as well as two for my parents. The speaker is SO much better on this third gen than the second gen. It also looks nicer. Definitely recommend!

Faster than grabbing cell phone to Google things. Nice to play music from and as a timer. Great for communicating throughout the house and leaving messages. Fun to play games on and asking Alexa questions

I bought multiple of these. So much better than the original Echo that I have. Smaller, more compact but the sound is awesome. Doesn't take up any space at all on my bathroom counter.

The 3rd Gen Echo Dot is still the best. I don’t believe Amazon should have changed anything going forward because this Dot was perfection. Great sound and easy to use.

Living with an artificial intelligence is the neatest thing. This thing can do so much. The product is well designed and it is affordable. I got a great sale price and enjoy owning it.
