Better than what I expected, bought this with my best buy rewards ! Easy to use and great sound for a small speaker

I got a pair of Amazon Echo Dots for my 85-year old mother for Christmas. My primary motivation was that, if she falls, she can call out to Alexa to make a phone call to me. She likes the shopping list feature. And she tells me she doesn't feel as lonely now that she can tell Alexa to play music while she is working in the kitchen.

A nice little speaker that works well for playing music and being connected.

This is a great ad on to our Alexa set up. We had the original ring video doorbell but after purchasing the newest version we found that you can use these as a chime. Anywhere you have one of these devices when someone rings your doorbell it will notify you over each device. I love Alexa products

We purchased this for our daughters room to allow her to take full advantage of Alexa. We have an Echo in our bedroom so this was a nice addition. We also have another daughter in Boston with an Echo and it allows the two of them the ability to chat. Quick set up to home network and to the Alexa app. Highly recommend the product.

The amazon echo is made of good quality and will last a long time. Alexia is responsive to most commands. It’s design is stylish and a good size.

I received the Echo Dot (3rd Gen) as a freee gift when I ordered my Fire TV and my family enjoys it. We use it to play music, ask questions about the weather and local/national events, timers/alarms, making calls and sending messages, and controlling other devices. We even purchased a second one.

I love it. Best gift i have. I'm old school so i had to have my son help me. But now i got it and think i'm doing something. Again i love it. She will play what you ask her and do a lot more. She wakes me up when i ask her to. She is amazing. You have to try her.

We bought two of these and paired them together. One is in the foyer and the other is in the dining room. They worked great at Christmas just by telling Alexa to play Christmas music. We had music in stereo until we told her to stop. We also have two WiFi plugs and now we can tell her to turn on or off the lights attached to them.

To be small it has a good sound. It does not take up much room. It is nice for a kid's room or a small room. I have mine setup in my guess room.

Pros: Got this in the black Friday sale at a bargain price. Originally had it in my living room but have since bought an echo so the dot now lives in my bedroom. Great sound quality but it does crackle slightly at full volume. I love all of the features, especially sleep sounds which I use most nights to help me drift off to sleep

I’ve been wanting one for a while and I’m really happy I purchased it. Quick and easy to set up. Very helpful when you’re busy but want to check the weather or need to google something... I can just ask Alexa and get the answer without stopping what I’m doing to pick up my phone.

Having this is very convenient especially if your using it with lamps. I’m planning on getting a few more since my home have multiple levels

You cant say Alexa at all in my house unless you are actually talking to her. It always hears you lol. The only time she doesn't listen well is when the volume is turned up and she's playing music. (The speaker is actually impressive for how compact Amazon got this thing... my klipsch sound bar is hardly used any more) and for smart bulbs to work you NEED a bridge that part sucks the only one you dont need a bridge for is the plus. The price of a bridge is about 50-80 depending on the brand. You also need to connect it to a smartphone for set up.

I had been skeptical of this little device since it came out and refused to buy. It was free with a TV purchase during the holidays. We all love it! I couldn't imagine how fun it would be to use. We also listen to music on gear because the speaker is awesome! We're actually going to buy another one now.

I have the larger Amazon Alexa and wanted an accompaniment for it. It connects to WIFI quickly and easily. Sound is great as well as range. I have grandsons so Alexa probably hates “Baby Shark” requests every hour on the hour. Would recommend for someone who does not necessarily want to invest in the large one first.
