I had the Echo Dot 2nd Gen and loved it, I love this one just as much. Alexa answers quickly and plays my Amazon Music just by the sound of my voice. Love using it! Also, if you have multiple you can make an announcement so people in a different room can hear you (in your voice). Absolutely love my Amazon devices.

I've had one myself for awhile I use mainly to control my bedroom lights and in the kitchen. Got this one as a gift for my friend who gets annoyed with their google nest quite regularly. Never had issues with the echo dot over the year I've had it.

I believe this a great home product if you have amazon products. It does many things for you that you wouldn't imagine. You could turn on and off lights, read you a bed time stories(with purchase ofc), and even manage your schedule. Ofc theres many more. There are limitations on these devices so that's why I gave it a 4 out 5. Some thing you expect to work doesn't. For example, if you want to turn of a certain like in 15 mins. It can't do that or I havent figure out how to.

I’ve been on a mission to get my 5-year-old to stay in bed later on non-school days. For now, he’s happy asking Alexa to play the songs he likes. If all continues to go well, I will get to sleep past 6am and not have to hear Oldtown Road for the 4-millionth time. Money well spent!

Easy to use and excellent sound quality. Easy to setup

We were a little skeptical of Alexa-like products, but when we made a themed room, the Alexa and smart bulbs were the logical choice for lighting. Now we have 3 seperate Alexa devices in the house and smartbulbs everywhere. Best investment ever!

Alexa is great to use if you are building a smart home! Thats what i decided to do. I have the ring doorbell, smart bulbs and smart plugs. I can control them all through this alexa dot. Its awesome!

OMG! I love talking to Alexa. This product is my first time having one and all I can say, if you don't have one, go out and purchase an Echo Dot! A must have and I love it in my bedroom, so when I am too tired to turn off the, Alexa is always there! My sister and I communicate on our Alexa...

We use them for music, information, queries, news, and also house-wide communications to all of the rooms that we have an echo in. Never thought these would be so important. Best feature is telling it to put items on your grocery or other shopping lists, whenever you think about it by just talking!

not too bad of a sound out of a small speaker. but for the price I like it. next time I'll buy the bigger version

I am enjoying my echo dot Ask it anything and it responds. Ask it to play any song or any singer any type of music at all and it will, I’m getting more to hear music all around the house, and to control my lights in each room. That’s the best part no more walking into a dark room and breaking your neck trying to find the light.

This is one of my go to gifts for friends and family. Inexpensive, useful & so fun. Love it

Picks up your voice really well, even with music or other things playing. It usually recognizes that it's not you when people say "Alexa" on TV and stuff. No need to buy the regular Echo or Plus because I have a seperate/way better speaker system. I hooked it up with some lights and climate control and it's seamless.

A great improvement over the original Echo Dot. Speaker is louder and microphones can hear from further away and seem to mix words up less. Best Buy always seems to have deals so wait for those, I got a free smart light bulb and it was the same price as just the Dot itself from Amazon.

I've had a couple of these in use, for nearly two years. They are easy to set up and use. The longer you have them, the more you use them. Their capabilities are amazing. The people I have given them to, as gifts are amazed; too. They have all thanked me, for such a thoughtful, usable gift. They were unaware, of all they can do.

The package arrived on time. Package arrived in secure packaging. I' ve been impressed with the Dot 3 since their arrival. Ordered a tutorial on ways I can have fun and benefit with my new purchase. Have several Bluetooth smart devices which since I've ordered some smart light blubs and plugs. I really want to learn

Echo Dot works great with my ring doorbell camera. I would highly recommend this to anyone with a Ring Cam. It will let you know loud and clear someone is at the door. I have this one in the bathroom so that I can listen to music in the shower. I have several of them located around the house.

Didn't know I needed her until we got our Echo Dot! She turns our lights on and off, gives us weather updates and funny little jokes. I use her for my shopping list so I can add it as soon as I think of it! Still finding all sorts of fun things. It's so easy, you must try it out!
