Worlds better than original dot of which this was an upgrade from. Better speaker and voice recognition - for the price point definitely recommend. The only thing to keep in mind is if you have them in adjoining rooms consider using different “activate” words to avoid confusion

Good 3rd gen echo dot. Sleek design, low profile, fits in most places.

I was in the market for speakers for my patio room. It was suggest I buy this new generation echo. I already have another one. I didnt know you could pair them together to have stereo until the BB sale person told me. It was on sale so I purchased this. I now have stereo in my patio room to any music I want. Sweet!

I just use it to turn my lights on and off from my bed. I also use the alarm feature and creating a shopping list if I just think of that random item I need. I know there are other options but these are the features I'm comfortable with.

Its nice and compact. Its has great sound and loud volume with no distortion! Responds great to your voice even from a distant room. There is one thing I dislike and thats the fact that its not battery operated which means you have to have it plugged into the wall every time you use it. If it wasnt for that it wouldve got 5 star rating!

Love listening to the Country music channel. I have a light bulb that was free with my purchase. So great. I can tell Alexa to turn the lights on before going downstairs. You can get weather and daily news updates while having your morning coffee. Would definitely recommend.

I love them, love them, love them. Bought one and after seeing, hearing and learning what it could do, I went out and bought 4 more...have them in most the rooms. What a deal for all the features. And must be simple to set up ....I did it and am not a computer expert at all.

Easy to connect the Alexa app. You can manage the lights without to get up at night. Weather, news and enteraiment using Alexa. Charcoal color looks elegant in the room! Great price and delivery very fast!

Love it. especially at the price. I do have better sounding smart speakers but this is an entry level purchase

Works great, connects to almost any music source, Bluetooth speakers, you can use it to control your smart home thermostat lights and everything, I have three of them in different areas of the house, love it, even though I think she Yves drops on everything I say, but what woman doesn’t (hahaha)

With the price point this item can be used in multiple rooms, and they can all be linked together for room to room music

Absolutely love this product! I got my first echo dot as a Christmas gift and started turning my house into a smart home. Wish I would’ve done this sooner. Since I got my first echo dot I’ve purchased two more for different zones in my house. Absolutely recommend this product for everyone!

Love my Alexa!! Helpful when I need alarms set or need to look something up and I love that I can control my tv with it! Plus play music on it from my Spotify.

Good sound quality, easy to use and budget friendly.

The Echo works well and is a good product. Created by Amazon but sold by BestBuy, this one that I purchased was available with same day pick-up, whereas purchasing directly through Amazon it wouldn't be ready for 2 months. And, pricing was better through BB. I would recommend.

Perfect to automate your home and came with a led light bulb as a gift. That deal was unbeatable. Bought as present and my friend couldn't be happier with them! Suprinsingly great deals at Best Buy this season! Now I check them out more often.

I have seven of these around my house connected to my savant smart home system - easily integrates and allow me to to use voice to turn on/off lights, turn on/off rooms, even turn the whole house on when I get home or off when I leave. It also does a great job of keeping me up to date with the weather.

I definitely notice a difference in sound quality from older models and competitive products. Just be ready for it to listen and collect data. I am ok with that as it makes for better user experience but can be creepy. This was a free add on item but I have purchased a similar model as a gift.
