We are enjoying our echo, the sound is great, and my husband loves the fact that he can play his jazz music and I'm glad cause I can request my smooth R&B without commercials. We add a smart plug and now we don't have to argue over who will turn the lights out when we both are comfortable while watching a movie. :)

I love my dot! I got it with a deal thanks to bestbuy! I have one prior to this one and my kids also love it. My 3 year old is always asking it to play baby shark. I have a 2 year old niece, when she visits remembers that I have one, and always asking it to play a song. Will be purchasing her one soon.

This is the 2nd Alexa I've gotten. These things have so much uses. I can even use it to ask whoever's in the kitchen, if we need anything else while I'm at the grocery store. We use it to stream amazon music, as a bluetooth speaker, a phone, audiobook, and to hear the news.

These things are great. Surprisingly good sound quality. So much more convenient than using a portable bluetooth speaker that requires device syncing and battery charging to listen to music. This thing is always plugged in and all you have to do is ask Alexa to play a song.

I love being able to ask questions about anything or add items to lists without having to press any buttons. The speaker works really well and love playing musing through this while I’m cooking or just hanging out in the living room with just telling it what kind of music I want to hear.

The sound quality is MUCH better than I expected from such a small device. The Alexa voice recognition/interaction works pretty well, too. We had the Google Home device before, and it was so bad we just returned it. Only reason we got this one was because it came included with a larger purchase. Definitely recommend.

We now have several of these throughout the house. Works great for controlling different items such as lights and plugs, however we like it most for the music. It is nice having the same music playing throughout the house.

I have an original tall 1st gen Echo, which sounds really good for what it is and I firmly believe that these 3rd gen Dots sound as good or better than the original 1st gen Echo. What a difference a few years makes in the tech! The look of the 3rd gen Dot is also more complementary to the house decor.

This is an excellent little speaker. It is very easy to set up and performs well under adverse conditons.

We love our amazon echo dot. We received it as a gift with another Best Buy order and it facilitates our cleaning groove. With a single voice command without having to stop our cleaning/working out to change the song or answer phone calls.

Had some points I had to use before they expire so looked around the store and didn’t know what I wanted then I thought of Alexa . So I got the echo and I love it . I play music on it . You can play rain falling so you can go to sleep easily. I recommend it .

Great addition to your smart home line up. Requires minimal experience on setting up smart home products, directions provided were easy to follow. Only downfall is the responsiveness due to our signal strength WiFi and router placement. Great if you have echo as well so you can talk to each other in different rooms.

You can’t be a Smart home for turning on lights or to ask questions. I have 3 of these now. Two 3rd generation and one 2nd generation. Wife loves listening to podcasts or music by Bluetooth thru it. Only con is Echo has issues re-hooking up to WiFi after an outage. You have to use Amazon Alexa App to re-pair it frequently. Not for your mom or dad with no tech skills or you’ll be over at their house all the time fixing. I have a Google Home Mini and has no issues after an outage so my choice vs Echo.

Too lazy to turn off the lights, buy and Alexa and some Alexa control light bulbs. This product has changed our household for sure

It is okay. I actually prefer the google home mini but this product is actually pretty close. It is useful for many things like controlling your smart home. I got it for free in a promotion but if you must buy an echo, I would recommend the new one. Hey google or ok google is harder to mishear than “Alexa” which sounds like lots of things including being an actual person’s name. I keep this device unplugged to avoid unintentional eaves dropping.

My college student loves it!! Compact size is wonderful for moving to different areas. Has the same great clarity of larger models.

I never really wanted this. It came free with another purchase, and I probably would never have bought it on my own. That said, I am really impressed with the quality of the voice recognition and the accuracy of its responses. I don't use it often, but it does come in pretty handy at times.

It came with the Ring doorbell I purchased from best buy. It is very helpful item for the ring doorbell users. It announces that there is some body at your front door or there is motion at the front door, even if the person does not ring the door bell. This item has many other uses besides door bell announcements.
