The Amazon Echo Dot is a small non-intrusive Alexia device with speakers. For locations where you want to have Alexia present without dominating the area. These were purchased as gifts and are still in use.

A gift bought for my 11 year old to use when having friends over and playing her music. Also to help when researching items for school. She loves her echo. Believe it or not she was able to set it up by herself. The instructions were simple and easy to follow.

I thought I didn’t need this so never bought one but got one free when I purchased a tv. Now I use it every morning to give me the updates of the day. I also like that it tells me my amazon notices

Fine smart speaker. Small enough to fit anywhere. Dark color makes it fit anywhere. Good sound quality.

All-round, its practical, good quality, truly streamling home living/automation and tons of fun. Love that it connects to my other Alexa devices and I can play music throughout the entire house.

It is great specially playing music I like just at a snap. I haven’t set it up all with it doing all the smart home things, but I am using it for my home security like opening garage door and unlock front door and set my alarm on..etc. It is really very nice what this small speaker can do.

Good sound and response. Have no issues with it. Actually am using it with the microphone turned off in the same room as another unit but put it in the same sound group so I can have multiple speakers playing in the same room the music I want to listen to.

Never had any of the old versions but read the sound wasn’t as good as this 3rd generation. I can testify this one is loud and clear ! I can be in my bedroom and speak to Alexa in the kitchen 1-2 rooms away and she can still hear me. You can ask her to raise her volume or lower it without going to the dot itself so that’s a plus. We have set up our lights with it and it works perfect, very easy. Alexa responds to anyone’s voice so that could be a plus or minus if others start commanding her to do things. The great thing is both my husband and can add Alexa to the app on our separate phones ( one iPhone and one Android ) and we both have access to make changes so that’s a bonus.

I recently needed a new Echodot. Checked other sources and found a high price. Went to Best Buy and bought two echo-dots for half the price I found elsewhere. Brand new units, worked perfectly!

These are great to have in the house. We use a lot of smart lighting. And it does great controlling smart home devices. And being deep in the Amazon ecosystem, it does great with our Fire Tv’s. And we also love being able to play music everywhere all at once.

Does exactly what an echo.should do has excellent sounding speaker. Alexa can be a little frustrating sometimes.

This may be a little speaker, but it certainly spits out loud music! Worth every penny!

I simply love these speakers. I have twelve of them all around my house. I have them grouped do I have music in every room and I set the volume on each separately to have a wonderful sounding system in the whole house.

I am enjoying my new Dot and learning all it's capabilities. I bought smart plugs so I can control some of my lamps by voice. I like being able to give it many verbal commands that I would previously have typed into my phone or laptop. Makes life easier, for sure! Happy with my purchase.

Alexa can do almost anything for todays homeowner with the proper additional peripherals of course. The concept of a smart home voice assistant was available to only the rich and famous not that many years ago. Today everyone can control their environment and entertainment with voice commands.

I'm quite late to the tech party, but I find this Amazon Echo Dot to be an amazing little gadget for a great price. Takes the place of so many things, a clock, a radio, a dictionary, a complete set of encyclopedias, a cookbook, and it will even tell me a joke!

I love my echo dot! It plays loud and clear! I really only used it for music but its great!!

Omg, I love it. I called alexa all day. Turn on i. The morning for music. Easy to connect to labtop and other devices.

My first echo ever. Actually very useful, specifically with me a new mom I have hundred things to do during the day, it’s great being able to yell at from the laundry room to turn off the lights or play some music on Spotify.

The price was fantastic. I received one as a Christmas gift and love it. I have bought several to give to friends and family. It is so easy to set up and use. You just download app your phone, plug it in to an electrical outlet and it’s ready to go.
