We haven't had any smart home devices up to this point, so this is our first experience with something of this sort. Getting it connected to the home network was very easy. We have integrated it with our Ring home security system, which is also very simple and straight-forward.

I have two 2nd generation Dots and have few if any gripes with them. But when I received my 3rd gen Dot, I was very impressed with the upgrade. Audio has improved 50% imo. Volume and audio quality are much better with this model. I also like the increase in size and the fabric exterior.

This is the 4th Amazon smart speaker that I have purchased. They are super easy to use, but occasionally can be a bit buggy. I actually think that has more to do with my internet to be honest. This one will most likely be used as a secondary speaker for a television.

Absolutely love the convenience of weather, music, sports and podcasts with just the sound of my voice. It can even make a grocery list, and has so many other features that I'm waiting to explore. The sound quality is awesome.

The Amazon echo dot is great, we have smart lights hooked up through it. You can ask Alexa funny questions, you can request music to play, you check on Amazon orders, check the weather, set timers, and so much more. A total must have!

Alexa does everything we have asked of her. She keeps constant reminders when I forget. Walking out the door (with alternative attachments) I can ask her to turn the lights off. Without hesitation, they’re off. She has amazing range and never disconnects from the WiFi.

I actually gave this to my wife, she loves it. We had Christmas music playing through it while baking cookies s with the grandkids. Awesome sound quality, great deal at Best Buy

I’m still learning exactly what the Echo Dot is capable of, but so far I like it a lot. The Echo Dot can be paired with the Amazon Firestick for both control of the device and sound. This is great in the bedroom. The sound is good (not amazing, but I don’t think it’s fair to expect amazing sound like you’d get in a Beats Pill or Bose portable speaker). For the price ($25) I’ve purchased several to integrate into our house. Seems to be a bit finicky, which is why I’ve given it 4 stars instead of 5.

This makes my life convenient! The ability to have “Alexa” turn on the lights, (with proper plugs) set a timer, just about anything! I can’t believe how much you use it until you have one!

This Echo Dot, was a free gift, as part of another purchase. I didn't even know what it was. Since then, I have found it useful, to check the weather and play music. Gotta be honest; the jokes are horrible. I end up listening to them, to see if they're as bad as I think. They are. Otherwise, the sound quality is good and I'm sure there are tons of other uses for it, that I'm unaware of, at this time. For free, it's great. Otherwise, I wouldn't have bought it, just because, I don't really need it.

Not tooo big not too small Alexa is great . She comes with a big personality depending on what you ask I bought this for my parents and they love it. I tell them to ask them all the questions they want to text me during the day. thank you Alexa your the best.

Love this, useful if youve multiple and announcing dinner times or departures. Music, announcements. I even send my wife messages. User friendly and the other voices get weird!

Surprising sound quality from a small speaker. Kids enjoy playing trivia games on it and accessing their playlists.

I love my Amazon Alexa. I've had it for almost two years and it still works great.

Been an Echo Dot user for a long time. Moved past the privacy concerns. Have upgraded all my units to Gen 3. Very noticable improvement in wifi reception, voice recognition and speaker fidelity. Gen 4 has been released. Gen 3's are a great bargain these days.

My daughter loves this thing! She said it brought her bedroom to life. The sound is really good when I’m working I have to ask her to turn in down. It is also very responsive and quick. It was easy to connect it to her Apple Music.

I cant believe I lived without it, A great addition to smart home. Can link to other brands of smart home devises. Was concerned the sound would be sub-par because newer models advertise upgraded sound, but for its size the sound is better than I expected.

Amazon has figured out how to make setting this up and using it flawless. Easily got it to connect to wifi. It understands speech very well and can quickly get to things you cannot even name, only describe. We have not used smart home features, but see how easy it would be.

We bought this Alexa for my Mother in Law. She is always looking to learn more about new technology. What better way than an Alexa. She can ask Alexa questions, turn on or off lights with just her voice, and even use it to control her TV via voice with a connected fire stick. Great gift for Maw Maw
