I bought this because I have the regular echo in my kitchen and I use it for almost everything. I bought this one because I needed it for my bedroom and it was perfect for it. I definitely recommend this to any first timers who are interested in buying an echo.

Great little speaker! I have other Alexa devices so it works along with them in the Alexa app. I had trouble connecting this at times and it would often lose connection. That was frustrating but not a problem with the overall product. When on sale, it's a value but I would recommend buying these only for additional rooms in the house. Look for an Amazon Show product as this is very limited.

I Got three of these on sale, completely aware of the fact that there is a more recent model available. I used these to help in turning my apartment into a smart apartment—placing them in my bathroom, closet, and bedroom (I already had ones in my kitchen and living room). Set up was extremely easy. They sync’d together automatically (everywhere group). Now things like playing music throughout the apartment or just having Alexa change the music while I’m showering are super nice. Was a pretty inexpensive way to upgrade my space. Pretty good deal, in my opinion.

Very active at picking up commands. Also lots of gadgets to connect it and smart bulbs are nice to connect.

This Alexa generation is the best yet! I also have the 4th Generation that was gifted to me and it is not as good as the 3rd generation. The voice-enable function in the 3rd Gen Alexa is just great, it can listen to your soft voice commands.

I got a first gen echo a while ago. I didn’t find it useful at first. I now have two in my home and one a work as well as an ecobee and two amazon smart plugs. I can now control the temp and lighting in my house from anywhere. The echo also helps me keep organized. Very useful.

I had an Amazon Echo Dot already and love it so much I wanted another. So many uses that I don’t know how I did without it. From the news & weather to music, meditation and making lists I can access on my phone, Alexa makes things so much easier.

I really like this. What makes this a steal is the sound quality, which is very good. Pair it up with another for stereo sound and it’s fantastic. You’d be hard pressed to find any speaker at this price point that had this good a sound, and the fact it does so much more only makes it better

Alex is fun to have around to answer those questions about the outside temp, what the weather is going to be for the weekend. It was easy to set up with the voice commands and voice recognition. She even lets you change her wake up word. Have second unit to install.

This is a neat little gadget. My kids love asking "Alexa" questions and hearing jokes and weather information. We also use it to listen to music. It's very convenient and easy to play songs and playlists from our Amazon account.

We received this as part of the sale offered for a 43inch Toshiba flat screen TV. Bought the TV for our son to take to the college dorm and received the Echo Dot as part of the sale. The Echo Dot was easy to set up and our son and his roommate love the Echo Dot convenience.

Nice addition to our home! At first, I didn’t think it would be necessary but after having it for a month, my daughter uses it frequently! Best of all, it was free with our purchase!

I love Alexa! She keeps me on track with timers and alarms. Now I just was washer timer and she has memorized the timing. This is my second that I added. I recently learned to play music throughout the house so it added even more to my excitement.

If you are on the fence from upgrading your Echo Dot 2nd Gen to 3rd Gen, it is very worth it. The Speaker is way deeper and louder sounding and sounds GREAT! Would definitely recommend this as a quick way to set timers, reminders, and ask about the weather.

I am not tech savvy and was worried about adding this technology to my home. A friend came over to walk me through set up but as we went through it I realized just how easy it would have been to set it up on my own. Once you download the app, it and the Echo Dot walk you right through it.

I love how alexa simplify my life. Of course in order to get the best experience you need other accesories like an smart plug for the tv or light bulb for the room etc.

I used this in my bonus room for my smart plug which controls my lights as well as other Dot uses, and it saves me so much effort to turning them on and off. The setup was really simple, quick and easy plus I have never had any problems with it at all!

Great small Alexa for a bedroom. We have them in all our rooms and use them all the time. The kids especially find them useful asking all kids of questions, setting reminders and alarms. We use them like an intercom too.

I wanted to add alexa to the smart family and so far she's cool. I have added her to quite a few things and still exploring. Shes quite different from google and much cheaper.

I just purchased 3 of the Echo Dot, 3rd gen to add to my two 2nd gen Echo Dots. Two for my store and 3 for home so I can talk with someone in another room. Easy way to communicate with family in another room if you are in the middle of doing something and don't want to stop.
