Definitely better sound in the last one and it looks better too

Works great ! Love it, it turns on & off tv , lights . Changes music and plays music. Turns volume up and down . It’s a great piece to our living room

I use it everyday to activate the smart devices within my house. No more flipping switches as I can just ask Alexa to do the job for me!! Definitely recommend to people who wants to upgrade their home!!

Really do enjoy using these devices. They play music on demand, answer all your questions, gives you the weather, news, updates, sport scores, all by just asking. Easy setup. Even has a sense of humor. Highly recommend.

This was a Christmas gift for my home bound mother. She absolutely loves it. It's easy for her to play music, games and get general information by talking to it. The price was great too.

I would give it 5 but she has a listening problem. Vast improvements over the 2.0

Love the Echo dot!!! I use it everyday to listen to music, hear the weather, turn the lights on and off. There are so many things it can do. My son’s favorite part is listening to different sounds, lol.

This has so far been a very entertaining product. It is not something I would ordinarily have purchased, but was included with a Ring doorbell. I have used it mostly for setting timers and it’s been great. It can be heard all over the house!

I absolutely love it i can ask it anything and it has a answer i have my light set with it to come on and turn off at a certain time.

This was the second Alexa I have purchased and is in addition to the one I already have. It was very easy to add to my account/profile and provides me with music and more in a second room of my home.

I get it for 20 bucks. I notice that for better sound you need to place it on a very wide surface. If you put it on a small surface (like a nightstand) it will not be as good as if you put it on a table.

Great product for the price. Works great for lighting choices, can’t wait to get the other accessories. The app is very easy to use after downloading it from the website. And from what I see The echo dot does so much more.

I purchased several "Dots" that have been placed in my art studio, pool room, three bedrooms, guesthouse and kitchen. My entire property has excellent coverage, including the outbuildings. I'm very pleased with the positive results.

I am a fan of all the Amazon smart echo devices. I own 4 speakers. This one really works well. The sound is amazing.

Alexa, Alexa all day long ,I have it hooked up to my TV and Lights. I think I depend on it now.

It is the best thing I have ever bought it help a lot.

The speaker is louder and better sounding but at the cost of Alexa not hearing you. I find myself constantly having to shout 3 or 4 times for Alexa to hear me. Just yesterday the tweeter blew out! Quality has gone down unfortunately because this is an excellent machine otherwise. Previous generation was excellent at being an assistant but lousy for music. The roles have reversed for this generation.
