Love this echo dot ive been using it everyday for pretty much anything from smart home voice control, communication and also as a Bluetooth speaker.

Our family had so much fun with the Alexa we were given as a gift, we bought two more for gifts for other family members. We are looking forward to incorporating other household functions for Alexa to manage.

I purchased the Echo Dot 3 for my 88 yr-old mother who is loosing her sight due to macular degeneration and while she is still learning how it works (its very confusing to her how this little black thing that looks like a hockey puck is able to do what it does), she is loving the fact that she can now simply ask it to play the music she likes and the music plays. We're taking one step at a time but this little device is a game changer for her.

I got one of these for my wife as a last minute stocking stuffer. She is very happy and uses it daily. Santa was nice enough to get me one as well. Glad he did, I use it every morning as I get ready for work.

We have an old home with light switches in inconvenient places. So i can just tell alexa to turn on the hue lights in whatever room in going into

Love the Alexa the dot hooks up great with the main Alexa the sound isn’t as good but it gives you sound through the entire house great price this is the cheapest one I bought out of three my first one was $49

Bought this for my kids. Great that we can communicate with them when they are in their bedrooms and they also use it as their alarms for school

The new echo dot is almost 2x bigger than the 1rst and 2nd gen echo dot. It also ditched the usb plug for a 15w proprietary plug, which is a bit disappointing. However the trade off is much better sound and even a hint of bass. The mics seem to pickup even when it’s playing music, which is a relief, not having to shout at the echo when it’s playing something.

Wasn't sure what to expect when we got this. It's been fun to have, we listen to music, play trivia with it, use it to turn a lamp on and off with a smart plug. Someday will control the heat of the house. Alexa does just stop on her own every now and then. Not sure why. Bought this during a Christmas sale for $24. It was a good deal.

This was a gift for my son. This is such a helpful gadget. I was skeptical at first, but after putting the parental settings on, Alexa is a genius. What doesn’t she know? My son loves the question of the day!

These little speakers are actually really loud. They’re great. And the price couldn’t be better on these. All around great product

I love being able to use my dot in several rooms in my home. I have some issues getting around so I have smart bulbs that are controlled by my echo to help me have light.

I had gotten one of these as a bonus for a TV purchase and let it sit for almost a year before activating it. What a mistake! Don't know how I lived without these things!

What a great idea! Used it to play christmas music while I was baking cookies. I can also link it with my Sirius XM account. Got one for my son so he can automatically turn off all his video consoles. Love it.

Got for my dad, Works like a charm, even for my dad who is not the most tech savvy person in the world.

The 3rd generation is noticeably bigger than 1st and 2nd generation echo dots and is well constructed. I like the color variations and the charcoal grey color easily blends in with other electronic equipment.
