Have had various versions of the dot since they were launched. This is pretty solid for it is supposed to do. Sound is good, a bit boomy at times, still legible. Microphones are great.

Works for the purpose we got it for. Decent sound for a cheap speaker.

I really do feel like I have my very own personal assistant. I use it especially for shopping lists, reminders and music. I brought two for my daughter for Xmas and also one for my granddaughter.

I love gadget. The speaker in the general 3 is far more superior to it's predecessor. I do wish it still had the kicobusb charging power cord though. But that's nothing to be really concerned about.

Great speaker with built in Alexa, much better than older models. Great sound and Alexa hears you from the first time you speak to it.

We have been hesitant to have a device in the house constantly listening to us. It kind of creeps us out. But we finally caved and bought one. Its most useful feature is playing music. Although the grocery list feature is nice. It doesn't always recognize that you're trying to get its attention. We find ourselves yelling at it sometimes.

I love this. I have it in my kitchen. I use it to play music while I’m cooking and to set timers. It’s definitely become a necessity in my kitchen. I love it.

Great buy for Black Friday! My brother had this on this Christmas list so it was a no brainer to pick one up for him. It was easy to set us and he is enjoying it.

Amazing device. Very simple to setup. Had device unpacked & working in 15 minutes. Voice recognition ahead of “Siri”. ( I’m an Apple guy). Great purchase

This is my first Alexa. I bought it on sale and got a great deal. There’s just so many things you can do, besides listen to music. It just requires research to keep learning all it’s features.

I have a bunch of these around my house and they work great. Even bought some for my in-laws and parents. Strong speaker for the smaller unit. Great way to access Alexa.

This paired with a smart tv is amazing! Didn’t think it was necessary but I get the hype now. Hands free lists, on demand music and more.

My kids love the Echo just as much as I do. In fact, she responds better to them then to me. Echo simplifies everyday things and is a great addition to my Ring doorbell. The app is simple to figure.

The Echo dot is a great way to play music around the house and it doesn't take up a lot of space. I'm still discovering all the features of the Amazon Echo products, but so far I'm very pleased.

Works great indoor/ outdoor gives me freedom to still hear my music.

I do not give 5 stars so 4 star from me is pretty good. Music sounds better from gen 3 than the gen 2. It is a portal into the Amazon echo infrastructure so it can do far more than I have yet discovered. Because the screamingly endless possibilities the set up of anything more than the simplistic can be time-consuming and complex to get working.
