It picks up bass tones better and overall seems to be better quality. The Alexa voice seems a little muffled at a very low volume, but otherwise, there are no complaints.

Useful Echo device that sounds halfway decent

While the bass notes are still limited due to the size of the speaker, the sound overall is quite decent for it's size. It also looks a lot nicer, too. So far, I haven't had any issues installing or using this device. It seems pretty reliable so far. I'm currently using this mostly to control my Philips Hue smart bulbs in my bedroom.
