LOVE the 3rd generation! Much better than the second...louder, response seems better and the ability to have two echos in the same room producing stereo if GREAT!

Our son loves this and really so does everyone else. Super cool and fun. Our son will ask tons of questions so its even educational along with functional!

I switched from a 2nd generation to a 3rd generation. The speaker is twice as loud and good for listening to salsa and full blast.

Replaced my old school clock radio with this new Dot. Perfect beside clock. with my old clock, if I forgot o toggle the "set" button I was out of luck. With the Dot, I can set alarms by the week, or day, so I can have multiple alarms. I'm really enjoying the sleep sounds skill as it's beside my bed. I have it set to play for 9 hours and I seem to be sleeping more soundly.

The 3rd generation echo dot has much better sound quality than the original version... and the original was surprisingly good. This just improves on a great thing.

This Alexa has made our lives so much simpler. We have lots of smart devices connected into Alexa and the sound is surprisingly good for the price point.

I have the second generation of the Echo Dot, which I enjoy, but this updated version sounds so much better! Other than that, it's pretty much the same as before.

The sound quality of the Echo Dot (3rd Gen) is exceptional definitely exceeding expectations. l stream music, news, and information throughout the house. Love it!

Great additions to any home. Does feel like someone is listening to everything you say. That’s kinda weird. But the convenience outweighs any of the creepiness.

My grandson loves talking to Alexa, he is four, although he sometimes pauses too long with what he wants so she doesn't always understand him. Once he gets out what he wants though she is very responsive. I like her jokes and being able to get her to play pandora with no effort at all.

Have these all over the house so worth it, the sound is amazing and the fact that it has Alexa on board makes it worth the purchase.

Sound quality is the best I've heard on a speaker of this size!!! Definitely worth paying a little extra for this one over the 2nd generation model.

Still messing around with my new toy. There is nothing to complain about. I mainly use it for playing music while I browse the internet. No problem setting it up.
