We were hesitant to purchase due to reviews of the sound not being very good. We completely disagree and feel as though the output and volume of sound is great!

I love the small and sleek Echo Dot. I'm still learning all it does. So many things you can set it to do.

Very good sound and a very easy way to listen to Audible books and your favorite music stations (worldwide). Didn't expect to like it this much, it's a winner.

We love the amazon echo with Alexa. She listens better than Siri and connects with secondary apps like Spotify. I wish we could get Alexa on Apple products.

If you are not paranoid about others hearing you talk without your knowledge, be very afraid. Big Brother is listening in Russia!! Really this is for lazy people that cannot get up to turn off their own lights or turn on their tv with a remote control. So sad to see that people are buying into companies like amazon pushing humans to be lazy. By the time you buy this, it will probably be upgraded to where all you have to do is think and it will obey your command. Enjoy your fulfilling prophecy!!

i only useit for my firetv switching inputs etc, and notifications, it does the job.
