Sound is greatly improved and well worth the money. The drop in feature works well and being able to play music throughout the house when entertaining folks is a nice bonus.

Love the new look

I was waiting for them to update this and when they finally did I couldnt wait to get one or more. I like how they blend in more to our things we have on our shelfs and dont stick out. The new echo dot also sounds way better but I dont use and echo devices for music unless I want a quick listen to some random tune.
