Better looking and better quality than the last generation. Not much to say other than that it works and I had no issues during setup. It is also constantly on sale and it's a good device for your room without a camera.

I am very happy with this product. It’s very easy to use. It was extremely easy to set up. I use it for everything from asking questions to add stuff to my shopping list and to control my lights or listen to music.

This is a step up from the original model in looks, feel and sound. It's not really used to listen to music regularly but works as needed and sounds better than the original. The newer spherical models are a further improvement in sound quality. I like the aux./analog 3.5mm output to connect to external amp/speakers or older audio equipment.

It was easy to set up and works great. The sound quality was very good for its size, and it syncs with a lot of my smart home devices. Well worth it.

The Echo Dot with Alexa is great for listening to music, books, and shutting lights off. She is hooked into our ring cameras and alerts us when there is movement. I would recommend this device.

This is a great, very small size speaker with Alexa, that was easy to set-up and operate. I have it hooked up to several of my devices and love it!

I love my echo dot. I use it in my office for background music. Alexa is still learning my preferences but she is doing a great job. I like the sleek look and the ease of tucking it away when I need to.

Purchased this as a Christmas gift and we're told it was easy to hook-up to their wifi. The sound quality is good, but not great; but then again, it's not a Bose system so that's not a knock on it. The bulb works well in the kids' room and they have fun with the changing colors. This wasn't expensive, so it was a good buy.

Easy to use. Has unlimited functions. I use it as my alarm, plays music, gives you the current, current news headlines. I use it as a Bluetooth speaker. I can play my iTunes music through this speaker. Has great volume

My family absolutely loves the convenience and the amount of variety of information you can get from the echo dot. In addition, it takes up very little space and has a great sound.

Bought this gift for my sister and so far, so good. I was able to test the sound and quite a few of its capabilities and I'm pretty impressed. Bought my dad one a week later. He's getting into all the techie stuff now.

I have 4 dots in my home in addition to the ecobee with Alexa. I even have one in my classroom. I love the fact that it can control so much in the home. You can even crank your car with it if you have the feature from onstar and etc. It gets really loud and understands most of the time. I live by these and the price $20 was amazing.

The speaker sounds great, it’s loud and crisp. The function are great, I synced it with my Apple Music and love I can play my playlist. It haven’t use a lot of the features yet but so far I love the product.

Choosing an environment is not an obvious decision as both Alexa's and Google's devices have it's pros and cons. Alexa is better for smart home automation thanks to the routines and flexibility, but Google is much better for entertainment. While Google can cast to a Chromecast from Netflix, Youtube and others, Alexa can't. Google can also play music from Youtube music (in case you have Youtube Premium or Youtube Music) which Alexa doesn't do. The internet search is also much better in Google devices. The main cons in Google devices are that for home automation you usually need 3rd party apps, such as IFTT, which require a subscription to work.

I have three of them in multiple rooms. So easy to set up, and listen to music, I don't have to yell to get kid's attention with the drop-in feature, they make home life a little more convenient.

This newer model of the Echo Dot is amazing! Extremely cheap yet the speakers sound amazing!

Bought this as a present for my Mom. She loves it! She uses it all the time to listen to music. Great size, small so it fits anywhere. Sound is pretty good for such a small speaker.

Had this for about a month now so I feel like I can give an honest review. Like most people say it puts out good sound. I have found myself using it for white noise at night (rainfall, rain forrest noise). I use it for local info weather for cast temperature. It works well withoit having to repeat myself. I use it to set timers and reminders, that's about it all by itself. Now if you have Alexa devices like I use ecobee thermostat and it's great turning it up or down when I'm downstairs without having to actually go to the thermostat. My next purchase will be a Phillips HUE hub to control the lights. I will say I have both Google and Alexa and I find myself perffering to say Alexa rather than hey Google. Seems more of an assistant saying Alexa

We absolutely love it echo dot. It's been out first ever Alexa device and it's been super easy to use and so much fun. My three year old even tells it different songs to play and it understands him.

Great product, easy to use. Speaker is much better than what you might expect for something so small, not to mention you can connect third party speakers if you desire. Ended up purchasing another one for another room.
