I bought 2, 1 for each of my girls. Perfect size for bedrooms. My older daughter has the charcoal one and Loves it! She plays music almost every day, Happy teen!

I bought it hoping it could make it easier to listen to my amazon music over my sengled speaker lights. It linked up easy and now i can hear quality music just by screaming to Alexa.

The Amazon - Echo Dot (3rd Gen) is a significant upgrade from its predecessor. Sound is of better quality and set up with the Alexa app is a breeze.

It is nice having it in the kitchen as it sounds great and doesn't take much space.

These little speakers pack a punch. It picks up commands really well even if you are far. You can ask it what's the weather like for today and create alarms.

This product is cool. The sound is great and it was easy to connect with my smart devices. I bought two and I will most likely be buying more for my family for the holidays.

My toddler girls love telling Alexa to play their favorite songs. Great for setting reminders as well

This is such an improvement over 2nd Gen! The speaker seems almost as loud as my Echo and the design is much better. This is a great purchase or would be a good upgrade from a Gen 2

Love the ability to ask for music to be played on request, turn on/off our Hue Phillips lights, make calls from any of the rooms the dots are in, and ask random questions for info.

I have felt for some years that something like this wasn't for me BUT...I love it and am really considering a second one for my bedroom. This Echo Dot is so intuitive and so helpful around the house while I focus on other things. You can learn so much just asking it questions! One feature that I have loved is being able to tell it in the morning to play meditation music for me--that has really helped me to be calm and focused on my tasks.

3rd gen echo dot looks nice and has good sound. Does all the Alexa stuff you expect for under $50 — got it for $25 on sale, Best Buy matched Amazon Prime week sale thanks!

Sounds good for the size and I can't complain about the price. It came free with a ring device. For those that are paranoid, you can mute the speaker with a physical button.

My mom loved it. Ver easy to use and set up. Works great with any phone. She loves the way she talks and it answers her request

Awesome little device. Very responsive and decent sound. Pairs well with my echo plus. Definitely would recommend, especially when they go on sale, which is quite often.

This is one of the best items I have ever purchased for my family. It has helped us so much that I can’t believe it took me so long to to get this. The house is rather large, so it helps us contact each other without having to yell or use our phones to call each other. It helps with the time of day or what the weather looks like for the day before we go out. It helps with questions I have about multiple topics. We constantly play music on it. It’s an amazing item to have in your home. I would purchase again and recommend this item to everyone.

We had a few older 2nd gen dots and decided to try the new one. It's even better. The sound is much better and the design is svelte. Holiday pricing made this purchase a no brainer.

We got out Echo-dot free when we purchased the Fire tv. I enjoy using it to listen to music in my kitchen when I’m cooking or cleaning. It’s small but the sound quality is pretty good overall. I researched prices and they are all over the place. So… I would definitely recommend, for the right price.
