This is a great device. The sound is good and there is never a problem giving it commands. I also think it looks far better than the current ones.

Bought this for my 12 year old and it's great! Small and compact and easy to use. We play games, listen to music and just learn random facts when we're looking for them!

This echo dot works as good as the regular side echo with surprisingly good sound for such a small and compact device. I use it on my desk in my office and it is just right.

Alexa is such a must have, to be honest! Its so cool all the things you can do with her, as long as you're connected to wifi. She will always be the best assistant I can have, I got several of them and have them around the house just in case I need an instant speaker! I use this in my bedroom and an echo show in my living room. This one controls my bedroom lights and I use it as an alarm. The small size is good for a nightstand

I LOVE THIS DEVICE ! This was my third Echo device (my second 3rd generation Echo) I received this Echo Dot (3rd Gen) as a free gift when I ordered my son's Fire TV and passed it on to him as well. My family enjoys them. We use it to play music, ask questions about the weather and local/national events, timers/alarms, making calls and sending messages, and controlling other devices, he has even added smart lighting and smart plugs to his room. Couldn't be happier!

I fall into the camp of I love my Alexa. if you start automating things in your house like I have then she becomes a valued assistant. Always nearby and ready to offer assistance. I got this one for my elderly mom. Now she always has music to listen to, the weather on demand and a backup means of communication in an emergency. I taught her to say "Alexa, call my son" so she doesn't even need to be near her phone should something happen and she needs help. For that alone she is worth it.

This is great starter product to introduce you to the alexa series. I was easy to set up. I wish they had different colors but all I could find was the basic black. I really love this device. 4 stars was given due to me order another color and best buy not having the color I chose. Overall a great product.

Great size to fit one in multiple rooms to keep connected no matter where you are in your house. Can play music on all devices simultaneously as well.

This little Echo Dot is a great little speaker. It's get loud enough to hear while I'm moving around the house and can connect to my other Echo and Alexa devices.

Awesome compact speaker. Volume reach is great in our house. Easy to hide from kids, but once they know “Alexa off” it’s a game changer when your favorite song is playing.
