Good sound quality for a small speaker. Really good.

I love this product. This compact size is easy to place in any part of my apartment and also easy to pack when I travel. The sound is excellent.

I have both the 2nd generation of the Dot and now the 3rd generation. The 3rd gen improves upon the 2nd in almost every way. The look of the 3rd gen is much nicer than that of the previous model. The cloth and matte finish on the top look far classier than the previous model with its fingerprint prone shiny surfaces. Most importantly, the sound quality has been greatly improved. While this will never rival the larger Echo products in volume or sound quality, compared to last years model, it is night and day different. The audio sounds much more rich and intelligible. Listening to music, radio, or podcasts are much more enjoyable and far less tinny than with the older Dot. For those that have a 2nd gen Dot, I would not upgrade if you don't use it for music, radio, or have it hooked to a stereo or set of speakers. But, if you use it regularly relying on the internal speakers for music, podcasts, etc, I would definitely consider upgrading. Especially if you can get it on one of Amazon's many sales.

This is our 4th echo dot, they are great for music and alarms/timers throughout the house. Asking what time it is, is a common one in our house.

This smart speakers is amazing it has great sound and works with popular music streaming apps. Setup is very simple and pair with phone is also easy.

good sound for a normal room and good size for small areas

I received the Echo at a special price with my video doorbell. I now have an automated house and still learning all the neat voice commands I can use to accomplish various things in my house. Listen to radio, please 20 questions, change the channels on my tv, ask general questions that come up in conversations, ask for the weather and even how long it's going to take me to get from my home to a destination. I've now purchased an additional one for upstairs and even a electric plug that now controls my lights on a schedule. More things to come I'm sure but this is the start of a whole new adventure.

Works good. Perfect for kids room. Speaker for music. Can ask questions. Set alarms etc.

I've had a original and gen 2 Dot and by far the gen 3 is so much better. Sound is an upgrade from past dots and I prefer the sleeker look compared to the past gen's.

Very easy to use, it turns my light on, turns a group of lights off when I say Alexa, Goodnight, plays my music easily, and answers my questios.

The echo is great to have around the house and makes our life easier in so many ways. It is compact but still packs a nice boom for listening to music.

These little speakers are fun to use. Excellent sound and easy to set up. I've got one sitting on my hobby bench and listen to SiriusXM all the time.

I like that you can link them together! Although I do prefer the screen on the Echo Show, the dot is really nice for the price and does the same thing.

I'm still learning all it can do, but so far it is a very nice little product for getting the weather, playing music, telling me jokes, and getting the news. It came with a free smart light bulb that I can control via the Echo Dot. That's pretty cool too.

This is the best Amazon Echo Dot to come out. For it's size the sound quality very good. This is a nice addition to my collection of Echo products.

This is my second ecco dot. Great little speaker and sound. Very small and inconspicuous. Must have if you use Alexa.

The speaker has great sound. Tone is excellent for such a small footprint. Intuitive and connects to Sirius/XM for more music choices.

This is what broke me into the smart world. Super easy to use and has a great little speaker built in. I would buy ten of these and have in every room.
