Very helpful! Great sound for my room. It’s not too loud. But once again it a great size for my room.

This was a perfect christmas gift for a family member who is into interactive technology. Like it better than the previous model.

This is the little echo and I love it. Sounds as good as my bigger echo model and is less obtrusive on the counter.

I already had an Echo so I am familiar with them and their capabilities. This one was included free along with the purchase of a smart TV I made. I wouldn't have gone out and purchased a Dot for myself but since Best Buy gave it to me, who am I to turn it down? I put it in my bedroom and now have one on my main living floor and on the upper floor where the bedrooms are, so I can use this one without having the volume turned up to ridiculous levels on the one downstairs.

These little guys are inexpensive and quite powerful and useful. I have one tucked away on each of the 3 levels in the house. It's great for music, tracking your grocery lists, and I've connected to Eufy video doorbell and they all chime when the doorbell is pressed -- so I can easily hear from anywhere in the house. I actually like this 3rd generation flat design versus that big ball design for 4th Gen. And, the sound is good enough!

Pleasantly surprised with the sound on this 3rd gen dot. We don't have to hook it up to any other speaker for it to be louder.

Already own 2 previous model of Echo. We purchased the second one for my mother-in-law. She loves it. We use them everyday for most anything i.e. weather report, music, an alarm, seek information, etc. It's almost like having a friend when you're alone in the home. You can carry on a conversation too. Purchased this one for our retirement home when we spend time there. There are other new features in this model.

First time getting into an Alexa device for the on sale price of 18.99 you can’t go wrong definitely will be upgrading to a nicer model in the future . Excellent for voice control of smart bulbs TVs consoles etc

The Dot is easy to setup and works well. It has a surprisingly good speaker for such a small item. Definitely recommended.

Easy to use and navigate. Alexa can read bed time stories to the kids, tell you the time and even play your favorite music.

I was always leery about getting one of these but I love it. It is so nice to be able to control devices from across the room. It is also pretty cool that you can ask questions or ask to play songs or even get a weather report. I would recommend this to anyone. Also got a Ring doorbell and the fact that they work together is great. Was also impressed that I could talk to Alexa remotely and control devices in my home and order items from Amazon.

LOVE the echo dot. It is small and picks up my voice commands easily. the audio output is decent too!

I received the Echo Dot with my smart thermostat purchase. I also have the Ring doorbell and security system, which came with Dots as well. The Dot can be used to check stat temp and settings, but it is even more useful with my security devices. The Dot alerts me when the doorbell is pressed or when it senses motion. This is nice as I have a Dot in my basement, and strategically placed in other areas of the home, which allows my family to know of activity without the need of a cell phone (kids for example). I can also arm and disarm the security system through the Dot. Again, think of placement of Dots vs the location of your security keypad. I can simply tell Alexa to arm if I’ve forgotten, e.g. I’m already in bed. It’s also nice to disarm by voice with full arms of groceries as you enter, as well.
