Easy to use my Amazon Echo. Was easy to set up. Can answer almost any question and plays your favorite music.

Love my Alexa! We never owned one. So we bought this smaller one to try her out! The children and us adults love her. There’s so much more to learn yet. To pair her to get started wasn’t too complicated, but for some reason I needed to update the software first. I thought that was odd. And since I use an iPhone, I needed to change the Alexa’s automatic setting of music, otherwise it tries to play from other apps. We got an amazing deal on Black Friday.

Works great and super easy to set up. I have 2 Echo show 5s and needed something for my office.

I've had the 2nd gen dot for a while in my home and just replaced it with two new 3rd gen dots. one in the living room and one in the bedroom. The device itself is more aesthetically pleasing and the speaker on this one is way better but my only complaint I suppose is that they have seemed to be a lot more prone to not working right than the last one I had. At times, she may not hear the wake word, other times shes way to sensitive. The follow-up command seems buggy, sometimes working and at other times not. Things she used to be able to control she cannot "communicate with" Keep in mind that these issues seem sporadic, sometimes non-existent and then giving trouble the next. These things could potentially be fixed in future updates though. Just a comparison of mine from my 2nd gen to my new 3rd gens.

Great Echo Device. Used as a secondary device in the bathroom. After constant loud music, a vibration can be heard when listening closely, but when you’re in the shower, what’s it matter? Haha

Whether you are their biggest amazon user, you are just trying to get into it, or you do absolutely no online shopping, this alexa speaker can still make your life that much easier. Give it a try. Alexa can come in handy with notification, playing music, letting you know when packages are close or when they arrive.

I like it! It has a better sound than the Gen 2 for music. It will also turn on and off items.

While the functionality is the same, this is a worthwhile upgrade simply because of the improved sound quality over the previous version Echo Dot. The unit is not much larger, but it feels more solid and the sound is 10 times better. It doesn't sound "tinny" like the previous model and even has an ok amount of "bass" for a speaker this size. The only change I don't like is that the 3rd Gen Dot uses its own proprietary AC Adapter instead of using a USB cable like the previous version.

For a long time I didn't want to use any of these devices in my home. However, I decided to go ahead when they were on sale. Now that I have it, I really do like it. It is so much easier to find out the weather by asking Alexa than it is to go to the weather app on my phone. It is really much easier to find out answers to many other questions and when I want to hear a specific song or many it is absolutely perfect.

This is great for working with my wifi plug and my lamp. Also helps me set alarms and listen to music.

Alexa Echo is an excellent product. Very helpful. I am technically challenged so the initial setup process with the app was very difficult for me. Most people would do fine. I do not recommend the toll-free number for help. That was a terrible experience. Get a kid to do this for you. Since then I bought another dot and it was easy peasy.

These “dots” are the best option for low profile speakers all with the fun of Alexa and the entertainment that platform brings. Sound quality is great for an apartment size surround sound feel. Rich and theatrical. Amazon has me hooked. But I hate that the Alexa AI keeps asking to get to know me better, to recognize my voice. Not unless you treat me to dinner first!
