I’ve been hesitant about getting An echo dot. I’m glad I waited though the 3rd generation has a good look about it. It functions really well. The speaker has a good volume to it and the mic picks up without any trouble. Ive been playing with the lights in my house for about 30 minutes now just in awe of this technology. The more I pay attention to technology the more I see ‘compatible with alexa’. I do not regret this purchase, I’m just going to need more bulbs.

this is an add-on to the other echos ...works great, looks more robust and better speaker in this gen.

Great sound., Easy to use, and well worth the price.

This is my first Echo and I'm surprised how well the voice recognition works. The only negative I can see is that this version does not have a battery so it always has to be plugged in, but it's also the cheapest version too.

I like having these around the house. I can message or talk to the kids from work, set an alarm using Alexa, the kids can ask whatever to do their homework with, how to spell etc. Alerts us when a package arrives cause UPS never knocks or rings the doorbell. Very useful! Best Buy gave one of these free too with a purchsase!

Best Alexa speaker, I recommend this product, easy to use and easy to setup

It’s a pretty dope item to have, makes things easier in your room if you connect your account to it and play music when you’re laying down or to turn off your lights if you don’t want to get up lol. It’s a time saver where I’m trying to get at.

I fell in LOVE with it and started finding great deals on the Echo Dots so I could afford to scatter them throughout the house. Once you really dig into all of the things Alexa is capable of you won’t stop trying new stuff. The dots are awesome Add-ons to the Main Echo Plus 2nd Gen, just really neat gadgets to have. I guess one would be alright to have as a solo but if you can spring for the Echo Plus with the built in hub , I would definitely suggest it.

Echo dot has great power for such a little device! Nice and compact as well!
