Use it all the time. Great sound and very user friendly to set up

We bought an Echo Plus (2nd generation) and an Echo Dot (3rd generation) at the same time. We targeted the Plus because it was advertised as having better sound quality and could operate other smart equipment (light bulbs, etc.) Surprisingly to us, the Echo Dot's sound quality was very good - not quite as good as the Plus's, but still very good. So, now, we've bought some additional Echo Dots and enjoy the high quality sound in multiple rooms.

There are many things to love about the dot. It small and isn’t the first thing you see but it does so much.

Have a few Echo Dots and this is my first 3rd Gen...and it is definitely better in every category...sounds better and looks better than my Gen 2's. Will hopefully upgrade my 2 's in the near future and donate them to local convalescent home so the infirmed can use them for entertainment and communicate with friends and family and not feel so lonely. In fact I am going to set them up for each person and teach them hoe to use them now that I think of it.

Works well. Turns on the lights and music is at your lips now instead of your fingertips

I love my Alexa, as a Teacher this comes in very handy in my class. I ask for the weather, the day and anything I need to know and it’s quick to reply! Also the sound is amazing when playing music. My class loves to speck to Alexa and request songs!

It's surprising that it took the $49.99 Echo Dot smart speaker this long to start looking like, well, a dot. The fourth-generation Echo Dot is now a sphere, to mirror the look of the new fourth-gen Echo, albeit in a smaller size for half the price. Not much else has changed here, but the new Echo Dot remains one of the best ways to add Amazon's Alexa voice assistant to every room of your home. That said, we think the LED clock face on the Echo Dot With Clock is worth the extra $10 if you plan on putting the speaker on your desk, nightstand, or anywhere else you use clocks and timers.

This thing is great. Sounds pretty good for the size, and I can even control my Amazon TV with it.
