We got this free with a purchase of a Smart TV and are surprised how much we use it. It can answer almost any question we throw at it - like trivia, the weather, etc. When we would normally google something, we just ask Alexa instead. Plus having a timer, reminders, and notifications on Amazon orders is quite convenient, too.

I have several other Echo Dots and Alexa products around my house and absolutely love them all. They sync up so easily to create a nice surround sound. Having older dots I can also say that this version of the Echo Dot is an upgrade in sound. It's so much clearer than on my earlier versions, I am thinking of replacing them with this version. I got a great deal on it at Best Buy also!

The echo dot is a nice addition to my smart home. It has a nice speaker , and is some what easy to use.

He’s Amazon echo dots are amazing, they work so well and integrate with my smart home devices perfectly. I got this one with my new TV which is a fire stick version, but I’m using this in my garage to Turn on my air compressor which is very hard to reach the switch. It’s so much fun to fill up the air in my bicycle tires simply by telling Amazon to turn on the air compressor. What’s not to like?

I am 78 years old and not tech savvy so I hesitated to purchase the Echo Dot 3rd Generation. However, we rented a house last month for vacation and they had one of these. Within five minutes of using it I was hooked and had to get one for myself! Love it so much I now have two! My husband calls it "Instant Google" as Alexa answers the most obscure questions instantly. I especially love the music capabilities of it. Great purchase.

You get what you pay for. Good quality sound and easy to install

My husband and I love this convenient little speaker with a great loud and clear sound.We love Alexa you can ask her anything.its versatile.i can bring it in the kitchen with me while I'm cooking or in our bedroom when we are just chilling or doing karaoke night.

I just recently got involved in making my home a smart home. I went from Simpi Safe to Ring and with the move to ring came a free Alexa Echo Show 5.... It IS HORRIBLE. Alexa can barely hear you on that and the sound was not the greatest. Then this beauty came up for free with the purchase of a Ring Stick Up Cam. The quality is so much better, this Echo Dot can hear me and the sound that it puts out is incredible. I do have to admit that I wouldn't pay full price for this, since it is an Amazon product and it is made to order amazon items easier. I would pay at most $20 for this since you are giving up some of your privacy to the corporation.
