Kinda fun and very convenient, bought for my daughter she listens to music on it,and uses it for alarm

I loved my echo. It the price was so reasonable and we use it everyday. I make store lis ton my echo, recipes , dance in my kitchen with my kids. It is the most helpful speaker you will find. I also check the weather everyday before leaving my home.

I love this speaker! It's small enough to fit anywhere. The sound is awesome!

The speaker can be pretty loud in a small room. It was my first attempt at anything smart home related. I had stumbled onto some smart plug surge protectors and this worked perfectly with them. After that I got some smart bulbs and a stand alone smart plug. All work great. I set up a routine in the Alexa app for turning everything on (Alexa, turn on my stuff) and another for turning it all off (Alexa, goodbye).

I have one in every room of my home. They are great for basic questions, playing music, shopping list, playing games, announcements throughout your home, Dropping into other rooms to have a conversation, and so much more...Great thing they are adding new stuff for her to do weekly. Hooking these up from out of the box is also surprisingly extremely easy! And the app is so useful, and also easy to use and navigate through!

Alexa I think the time has come to give my honest opinion on the Amazon Echo Dot. As a user of "virtual assistants", I have just used the Google Assistant, and in that sense I think Alexa's artificial intelligence takes a thousand turns. But be careful, because not all are virtues, and if we go to detail, there are still many things to improve in the Amazon assistant.

This is a pretty helpful lil guy right here, i was looking for something for my girl for xmas and i didnt really wanna go all out on one thing. So this was one of several and im excited for her to get it. I have my own and its connected to my lamps and tv and thermostat and once its all hooked up it feels like im literally living on a spaceship where i can command it what to do lol!! The best buy staff also hooked me up with a smart bulb on the house...love it!

Don't let looks deceive you. This little speaker is dynamite. A definite improvement over the previous generation Echo Dot! I have these throughout the house to control different smart devices in each room. Alexa has many cool "skills" that you can add to make it more useful. I love that you can "drop in" to another room to check on the kids or "announce" on all of the devices that dinner is ready. Definitely recommend this device.

Great product. I like the size of the product. The sound quality was very good.

We received the Echo Dot free with the purchase of a TV, and have been very pleased with it. We use if primarily for playing music; it's easy to just issue a voice command to play a certain genre of music, and can listen to styles that we normally would not or that we don't have in our collection. We also use it to check the time or as a timer.

Looking for one to place in my bedroom to play music. Perfect size and easy to install.

works well and easy to set up. sound is pretty good for its size and able to use it as an intercom when I am on another level from spouse. good value for money when on sale

This little guy can do just about everything the Echo (2nd Generation) can do, and it takes up less space! We use one each, in our bedroom and family room to complement our regular Echo which resides in-between our kitchen and living room. The only drawback is that the speaker isn't as robust as the Echo's, which is to be expected, because it is much smaller. But for the price (less than 1/2 the price of the Echo), it's a real bargain!

This item is small and super helpful. I'm always the time lol to play music or to just call one of my contacts on it..
