Love having the echo. Can do so many things like alarms, connecting other devices, calling etc etc

I love it.i set the alarm it wakes me up, I play games on it and any kind of music I want to hear.

I use the Echo Dot basically for listening to music and a few basic things, alarms, weather, etc. The only issue I’ve had is when I try to connect to my Sirius/XM, it immediately drops the boardcast after a few minutes. I also have Siri, and have no problem with it using my Sirius/XM. Want to learn how to control the lights. Not as easy as they say.

Got this with a TV. It's nice for our Kitty's room. She likes music during the day. Perfect. I don't use it for anything else. Actually, it's cool. I know it's capable of much more. I won't use it for anything but playing music. The sound is really good. I'm serious about the Kitty.

I got this to replace my 1st gen Echo Dot. HUGE improvement on sound quality. It’s not audiophile quality but for the size, and more important the price, it’s an excellent smart speaker.

Love this item! Have these all over my house! Love how they pair easy together and also can link my Apple Music perfectly! Why spend over $100 on a smart speaker for apple when you can get this for less than that! Also have the 2nd generation echo tower and a echo show at my work place that I also use as a virtual picture frame!

I was leery about having one of these in the house but then I realized I have nothing to hide. My cats also seem to be fairly trustworthy despite their slight shadiness. I have really enjoyed learning all of the functions that this thing can do. I already bought some Philips Hue bulbs to use with it and they are equally amazing. Sound quality for streamed music is as good as you can get for this size.

So easy and fun to use. Great for anything from playing music, getting a weather report, setting alarms, or even telling jokes. I was concerned about privacy but you can any delete any voice recordings through the app. I also fully appreciate that you can set the device to “guard mode” when you leave your home/office, and it’ll listen for sounds of breaking glass or alarms.
