This is a good alexa echo dot. It is not a great alexa echo dot. The audio is good and the voice recognition is good. It is a good alexa echo dot for a good price.

Having speakers that listen when you’re not asking them to is, frankly, creepy. But the ability to play music throughout my home and control my lights with my voice, I adore! You can turn off their mics if you feel the listening to you is weird too, you press the button and the ring turns red to let you know it’s not listening. Great alternative to Sonos, a lot cheaper! I’ve loved mine so much I bought five of them!

We bought this second Echo Dot because we loved the first one. Ease to use, small, great sound. The only reason we gave it a 4 was because it is not wireless.

This has been one of the best investments we have purchased for our home. From setting alarms, reminders, Wi-Fi calling, using it as intercom with the drop in feature, to playing music, getting information from the web and simply asking for time and weather, this device has added smiles to my children's daily activity. Highly recommending this item and would have purchased again if I don't have 3 more on standby.

When i bought this i wasn’t expecting a huge sound to come out of the speaker, and i wasnt wrong. I use this for background music for my front room, Bass quality isnt good but it isnt bad. It is responsive to your voice and easier to interact with the alexa app.

I simply love my ECHO Dot,it's new designed model surely looks sleek and speaker is so much louder than it's previous model,the look,the style,the loudness,its a home run for me..It's very easy to operate,and download it's app and it's all explain to you thru the echo dot,can't get any simpler than that..For it's small size,and powerful sound..Im in love with device,it won't disappoint you for sure.

The amazon echo dot basically serves as a voice controlled search engine for you. You can ask it to perform many tasks for you, such as play music, tell the time or weather, or answer any multitude of questions you can think of. It mostly gets used at our home, to answer strange or weird questions, to see what funny answers Alexa will respond to. Easy to set up.

Got 2 Echo Dots 3rd Gen to combine with my existing Echo. EASY installation to add these, although not a bad idea to Google instructions beforehand - very helpful. Sound quality on these little devices is pretty amazing - as good as the larger Echo. And you can't beat the sale price of $30. Only complaint is that Best Buy kept changing the delivery date info !
