I have it in my kids room and they like it. I use it as their alarm for school. They sometimes get it to play music.

This is my 3rd Dot, my 5th Echo counting the Spot and the FireTV. This one has a much improved, very sensitive microphone, one that I don't have to speak to twice to wake it up. The built-in case is also a great add-on. My continuing complaint about Echo in general is that it doesn't know much. Great for scores, schedules, local weather, current news, connections to to-do & shopping lists and calendars. But ask it for information about something complex, and I find it usually fails - "Hmm. I don't know that." No comparison to Siri or, especially, the best of the bunch, Okay Google.

Cool Amazon speaker tell you the weather play music you can ask questions, etc. I really had a good time with it

Listens very well So far it has helped remind us of things and gives us a hand with the little one at home with music or just getting the time when are hands are full We play music on it all the time no more searching for what to listen too If you have SiriusXM you may connect it and have all your favorite stations at a simple command Would recommend

We gave this to a friend who is recovering from surgery. He loves it! It was so easy to set up, and he enjoys the music, asking Alexa about the weather, and all kinds of other fun things. The sound quality is amazing for such a small device. I'm thinking of buying one for myself! The contactless pick-up was great too.

Got this for free with my Fire tv purchase, would never personally spend money on tech like this but it is very convenient for people who are not tech savvy. Looking forward to see how Amazon continues to update and improve their devices. Set up with tv took 30 minutes after download.

I received the Echo Dot as a Christmas present and then gifted my Aunt and Uncle the Alexa Home and Echo Dot since their house is bigger and we both love it. I never thought I could have a "smart" home considering I have an older home but I definitely do now. I ask Alexa the weather every morning before work, make shopping lists and turn the lights on and off. It's too cool!

This is my 5th one, I have them all around the house. This little speakers perform really good especially when your in the shower listening to music. It also alerts you when your ring doorbell is rung, it tells you when your Amazon package has been delivered. I'm pretty sure it does a lot more but I haven't got around to it yet

The Amazon - Echo Dot can be fun for the whole family. We mostly user it for the music service, playing whatever song we can think of. However, there are many more uses to be explored. We've ordered pizza, checked out traffic in our area, played games, and connected our cars. I highly recommend this product and look forward to what Amazon comes out with next.

it's nice to have an answer available as soon as you have a question as it leaves you more time to do other things & we really like the fact we can pair our other devices to Echo, like our Ring doorbell, if we are away from our phone or it's off while charging Echo gives a verbal alert so we don't miss anything. We are having fun exploring all the things we can do with Echo.

Excellent product works amazingly well, i have it connected to over 10+ things from smart bulbs, outlet smart plugs,gaming consoles and tv. I Love how it's easy to setup and it has a good Quality build with a low profile look so it blends well with things around the house.
