I initially got a 1st gen dot as a gift. But as soon as we figured out the convenience it provides, we had to get another one for upstairs. No more forgetting shopping lists, just look at the app on my phone. Home late, Alexa turn on living room light. Alexa, what time do the Golden Knights play? Is it going to rain today? You get spoiled fast.

Easy set-up. Wonderful full sound! Amazon got this one right.

I overall love this speaker it is decently loud for the size of the speaker. I also love to have basically every aspect of my home "smart" so this helps a ton with that aspect of living.

Bought this as a gift for my father, and I can’t say enough about how much he enjoys it. From reminding him to take his meds to playing name that song to setting alarms for cooking it’s just a fantastic gift for someone of his age and all ages.

Big Brother is everywhere in my house, and I don't mind! LOL... These come in handy for making announcements, used as 'doorbells,' playing music, timers, reminders, asking questions (though half of the answers are convoluted) - but useful nonetheless. Pretty sure I got this free when I purchased a camera :)

Use my dot for everything around my house. Or use used for my vacuum and light and is such a great small device that is modern

Alexa!!! Help me relax!! Love this little echo dot. Fits perfectly in any room and it has ears like a hawk! Clear Communication between Alexa and yourself, it can stream phone calls, music and even tell you a bedtime story lol. Echo Dot does it all! Very family friendly!

This product keeps getting better and better. Way better sound than the original. Also better quality, if it falls it feels stronger and sturdier. Now if only the music that you request was part of purchase, instead of having to pay extra. It will be amazing. Most songs I request are not part of the deal. It asked me to pay extra.

I never would have thought this small Echo could produce such amazing sound! Very convenient for small spaces and the sound clarity is awesome! Alexa understands my voice easily and I really wish I'd have bought 2 or 3 of these! Definitely recommend this echo!

If I would have known my 6 year old would be in my room telling Alexa to play Michael Jackson everyday I would have purchased her one when I got mine! Lol great product

This is our first Alexa, and we LOVE IT. This is such a handy device to check the weather, ask a quick question, listen to music, or play a trivia game. The speakers sounded great when we first got it, although after about a week it sounds distorted at times. Maybe we had music up too loud? We love how it connects with Ring devices!!!

To be honest, haven't had a chance to use my echo very much as I'm living in some one else's house but hopeful will be moving into my own place as soon as this covid-19 allows me to travel. In the mean time I've been purchasing things like a smart strip, plugs and plugs. Can't wait to get it all set up..

I bought the Echo Dot 3rd Gen in Charcol, loved the look and simplicity of it. Speakers can really jam out! I had alll my devices connected in a speaker group along with my Fire Stick and had my apartment call me and say people were complaining about how loud the music was — speaks for itself!
