Every day I find more used for the Echo dot. The sound on the 3rd generation is so much better. Really nice. Got one for my 92 year old mother and she even loves it. She is not one to adapt well to computers, cell phones and other electronics, but this she enjoys using.

This was a free gift when we purchased a TV and we are pleasantly surprised. Good sound, answers our needs in music and hands free. Love it.

This Dot is a nicer style than my others. It does not do anything that the others don't but it is so nice to have Alexa throughout my home. All I do is say her name and she is awake and ready to set a timer, tell a joke, answer a question, turn on / off a light. It is wonderful!

Great company for my older parents. It gives them the independence and ease to look up the weather, find out business hours, put music and so much more.

Great purchase brought it around Christmas for about 14 dollars. Have not had any problems connects to all products accessories that I have…love

Disclaimer. This product was a freebie as part of another purchase. That said, I already own several google home and chromecast devices so this is a one-off Amazon device on my network. I'm pretty pleased with the device as a whole and it is similar enough to my other smart speakers that the adaptation wasn't difficult. It seems to perform all the basic functions just fine such as controlling lights, setting alarms, and playing music. It's a nice device overall.

I love how alexa simplify my life. Of course in order to get the best experience you need other accesories like an smart plug for the tv or light bulb for the room etc.

This was my first Amazon-Echo Dot. I already have 2 Google Homes and 3 Google Nests. This seems to work about the same as those. With the Echo though she listens a lot more than the Googles though. I have the Echo in my bedroom and when I first got it, if I turned over in my bed it would light up waiting for me to say something. If I have a question she's real good at almost always having an answer.

We got this as part of a promotional package with the ring video doorbell and we love it! Extremely easy to set up and run everything off of the Alexa app. Ask Alexa anything....she even tells knock knock jokes! They're not the best but good enough for the kids!

We bought about 5 of these for about $20 a pop. Used them to create a housewide speaker system. Also used to create prompts for our kids.

Simple to set up and easy to add on features like lighting for your home. Wasn’t sure about buying this but my son wanted one for his birthday. We now have three in our home. Signed up for amazon music instead of the free trial subscription Best Buy included.

Very good product, very easy to hook up , basically plays just about any thing you might need at a push of a button.. it's an Amazon product what more can be said , i believe anything made from Amazon is the way to go ..

I thought the set up would deter me from using the Echo Dot. I was amazed and had it working in less than 15 minutes. I love it I can listen to my favorite radio station or get the weather or even get a recipe for cooking something different. Great little product!

Love these! We have several in the house and use them constantly to turn lights on and off via special bulbs and plugs. Also use them to play music, make phone calls, check the weather, news, set reminders, alarms, etc. So much you can do!

I have the Dot in my bathroom to play music and to be there when I have those random thoughts I need reminders for. This thing can hear me when I'm downstairs in another room talking to my other Alexa. Sound is great and I'm happy with it.

Gave as gift for aging parents for Christmas. Love that they can use Alexa to help perform daily tasks and call grand kids when they want to chat or facetime with Echo Show. Mother-in-law used to call when she fell and fractured her neck earlier in December, what a life saver!

The Amazon Dot Echo we purchased has been AMAZING!!! We are totally happy with the purchase and only wished we had done it sooner. Alexa is light years ahead of Siri in intelligence and ease of operation and the number of things "she" can help with is fantastic. Great purchase

Wait until they go on sale. We love our Echo Dot (3rd Gen) Smart Speaker with Clock! No more fumbling with buttons in the dark, just say: "Alexa, set alarm clock for 12 noon" and that's it! You will be on time for all your early afternoon appointments. It also being the (3ed gen) it works with all the other (3ed gen) Echo. So if you have multiple Echo"s" you can set up if music plays on just 1 some or all" Also you can set up a grouchy list, tell Alexa what you want on the list and then that list links with the Echo app on your phone when you go shopping.

I love having an Echo in most rooms of my house because I can link them and play the same music in each room as well as be able to take advantage of the personal assistant asking for weather reports and other handy information. This was my 3rd Echo
