I like this better than google product. Only drawback is it was a package deal with a smart light that I could use since google NEVER recognized either of the 2 philips hue I bought. Never saw the light.

We wanted an better way to communicate between floors on the house and this works great for that. Alexa is great for hands-off questions, getting weather, setting reminders, etc. It's easy to use but there are almost too many options. I like playing background music from Amazon or the services that I already have. It would be nice if there was a digital audio output to connect to my stereo. The sound is OK but not great.

I got this for free with the purchase of my tv so I wasn't expecting anything from it. Little did I know it would become essential to my living. I now have a ton of smart devices that I control with this little echo. I absolutely adore the little beast!

I love all Amazon products !!! I put this in my kids room , I am able to communicate with them through the Alexa app and also they love to play their music on it .

I resisted “The Man” listening in at my house to all of my conversations and arguing— haha These things are pretty cool. You can say hey Alexa, play 80s One Hit Wonders and was la, you are back in the club. The sound isn’t too shabby either.

Got Alexa as a gift and bought echos to put in several rooms. They were a little hard to set up (my tech skills are low), but once established I can turn on lights on in the kitchen from the bedroom and in the garage from the bedroom, etc. I love the convenience of echo!

I buy this for me and I really like it because you can hear clearly the songs and is really helpful

This device took some time to set up being my first time, but once it was linked it works great. Looks good, great sound for such a small speaker and was able to hook up my other devices with no problems.

This is a very neat lil item . Comes in very handy for music and alarms . Only downside is everytime there is a ALEXA ad on TV it activates mine .

I have purchased three Echo Dots on sale and use the "everywhere" speaker group feature to listen to music throughout the house. The sound quality is good enough for everyday listening - I have also connected a couple of Bose speakers using Echo input devices.

For a small device, the sound is great. Got rid of my alarm clock radio as Echo is now used to wake me to music. Lots of possibilities to use including control of lights, temperature, etc. Alexa’s jokes need work though. LOL Ps I bought a few for friends too!

This is the 1st dot that I have owned so I can't compare it to the previous versions. The Dot ver 3 has a really good speaker. It can get pretty loud for such a small unit and it's very easy to connect it to a Bluetooth speaker if you want something louder or better quality for streaming music. It easily connects to your home wifi (no computer needed) via the Alexa app on your phone. Setup took about 2 minutes. Now I am able to control my Hue lights with my voice set a timer or just ask random questions. The initial offer price at 2 for $50 is a steal. I picked up 4 and am very happy with the results.

We have these in various rooms throughout the house and I even have one connected to my stereo in my workshop for streaming music via Pandora. Works great for whole house music and so much more.

I bought this for my daughter and she loves it! I will be buying this dot for myself. I bought this for her for Christmas with the fire TV that also has Alexa so they work in different areas of the house for her convenience. Great purchase! I would definitely recommend.

This little device definitely comes in handy. Especially when you have family over and can’t figure out who is right when a question is asked, all you have to do is ask alexa. It can be used for anything. The kids in the family love to use it when they come over too
