This came with another purchase. I didn’t anticipate using it much, but I love adding groceries without typing on my phone. I also love that anyone in the house can add groceries. My children have fun asking her questions too.

Love love love my echo dots. I have various and they are so convenient. I can ask for the weather or to turn lights on & off. I ask for info and my kids ask questions for help with school, or to find music. Love love love!

Amazon's third-generation Echo Dot ($49) looks good and sounds great. With vastly improved audio, it's now a distinctly better smart speaker than the Google Home Mini, and can replace the larger $99 Echo for less picky folks.

Great buy. Easy to set up and use. Even the grandkids use it. Received a nice bonus bulb with this purchase. The only thing is when WiFi is down. It’s down to. But otherwise would purchase again. Great as gifts.

The sound is incredible for teh size of the speaker. As for the "smartness" of Alexa, I have to say there is a long road to call that technology smart.

I was skeptical at first, but I love my Echo! It's so nice to be able to ask so many questions without having to actually log on my pc and search for information! My kids really have fun playing music and games! I wish I had gotten this product sooner!

We bought this $20 item to add to our existing 2 Echo Dot (3rd gen), because it is so convenient and nice to access the info by voice activation. It is light weight and can be placed anywhere in a room without taking up much space.

Bought for a childs room that doesn't have over head lighting. We got the smart bulbs for her lamp. Makes it so much easier just having Alexa turn the light on & off for her room. She really enjoys being able to listen to music with it also.

Alexa has spoiled me from turning on the lights, telling me the time and reminding me of things to do and the best part is I got it free with my TV purchase. I love it!

This is our 4th echo in the house. We just love the convenience of one in the rooms we use most. Great price on a small but mighty device with awesome sound.

We already have a couple of Google Home Minis, and picked this up for my daughter. Setup was a breeze and it seems to have a LOT more functionality than the Google Home Mini. I wish we had gotten the Echo Dots in the first place!

Ease of setup was a plus. Mostly used as a speaker for music to and to check weather. Still somewhat paranoid about having a device always listening, but the ability to mute the mic is great. I received the product free with a purchase, otherwise I would not have purchased it, but it serves a purpose in my home.

Bought this Alexa for my daughter for Christmas. She enjoys music and I figured she’d love it compared to using YouTube to listen to music. We have the Show and I can communicate with her through the Alexas if need be.

I use mine with the wall mount (extra cost) in the bathroom to add items to my shopping list, get the weather report, and listen to music. It’s compact size is perfect!

Echo dot is easy to use and very simple device, the sound is okay but it does most of the things other higher level echo devices. If you just want to have an Alexa command device with decent sound, it should work out just fine.

We are seniors and hadn’t considered the Alexa until my brother on law showed us his. We couldn’t be happier with it. Love to have Alexa play us music and answer various questions. We are learning new things every day. Five stars!

For a long time I swore I would never have a device that listens to me at home, now I can't live without Alexa and my Echo Dot. Great sound from such a small package. I use it to control lights ask questions play "sleeping sounds" radio stations all by voice.

My dog ate mine We had to put them down because unfortunately, he was unable to pass the circuits through his bowel system, but still great for weather.
