Love this little speaker, I pack it with me everywhere I go. Sounds great for it's size and battery last a couple of days with it being used daily.

Purchased to replace a second generation Dot that has gone a bit flaky with WIFI. The sound is MUCH better, although I won’t be replacing my other Gen 2 Dots for this reason alone. However, it is worth spending the extra $10 to get this latest version.

Always wanted one of these. Now that amazon has redesigned this new generation, it makes it even more appealing. I am able to control my Hue lights and smart plug connected to my Christmas tree but also get information, time etc. I highly recommend it.

Now a days, who isn’t on their phone? Pretty much everyone is. Alexa helps you do things like remind you to do soemthing, can answer calls, send text messages, even turn off the light for you (if you have the light plug in). Who doesn’t want all that?!

I bought one for my husband for Christmas, he loved it so much that we bought 2 more. We've played games with it, with the dot buttons, ask questions, listen to music and are also buying more smart plugs and accessories to go with it.

The 3rd generation Dot seems to upgraded over previous generations. The speaker seems better and the build quality seems more durable. These devices offer a ton of features and always come in handy!

I like this Echo dot just fine, but think it induces us to a sedentary life style. I use it sparingly, but I can see that it would be a wonderful device for those who have mobility problems. It is a very attractive device that does not distract from any room setting. I would wholeheartedly recommend this to anyone who has mobility problems, and even to others who just love playing with gadgets, like myself!

Nice speaker! My kids love this. Set up with Alexa app, and connect to wifi and your good to go. Cool thing is, you can hook up to Spotify account and just say things like, “Alexa, play (any song)”.

We use these across the country to stay easily connected. The DOTs are super simple to setup, as easy to use as asking a question, and useful for reminders and alarms. Alexa's uses are almost infinite and those uses grow in number each day.

The echo is a great device I’ve had this is my second one I brought 6 months ago but Best Buy tricked me I brought a new fire tv but it wasn’t New it was a rebuilt and the ads didn’t say that so Best Buy you fooled me !!!!

Great product, nice sound, they only thumbs down that it needs to be plugged all times to wall.

Was originally hesitant to venture into this whole smart home thing but it's pretty cool. Integration to other devices is easier than I thought.

I absolutely love it. It plays music, answers questions, tells you the time, gives you cooking conversions, sets alarms and tells you jokes and much much more! I do find myself yelling at her sometimes but she is very helpful!!!

I have to be honest. This came free with another purchase and was something I never thought I’d use, but it is awesome!! Perfect for playing music, setting timers and so many other things. Yes, a phone can do all of this too, but Alexa is hands free!!

The Echo Dot (3rd Gen) is easy to set-up. The sound quality is great. The only thing I find the slightest bit of a design shortfall is that I have it on my bed stand and I cannot differentiate between the buttons on top, especially in the dark. It would be nice in future generations if the buttons were lighted. Best Buy had a better price than Amazon on this product.

I shop a lot from amazon and love how they have everything, but I still don’t feel that Alexa orders properly for me. I try to be specific and she doesn’t always fully understand what I’m trying to order. The sound quality isn’t bad, for the price. Could sound better, but then I would have to buy a more expensive unit. I have my HomePod for listening to music. This is more for listening in on other rooms in the house.

My Echo Dot is doing exactly what I was expecting it to do for me. Playing my favorite music and giving me the latest news. I love it!

What a bargain. I have been wanting to add voice assistance devices to my garage and kids bedrooms to complement the devices I already have in the rest of the house. All promotions counted cost me $64. + tax for three Dot's. I created household groups and can play music throughout the entire house or select rooms. Replaces alarm clocks and provides individual customization for each room. Packaged well, easy intuitive set up right out of the box. Plug and play with a little interaction of the Alexa app. Highly recommend Amazon smart devices and Best Buy!

Do not know where I would be without my Alexa devices. The echo is great and syncs well with my other devices. I love being able to ask the weather and get a great forcast of how the day will be. I use it all the time to set timers and more than 1 at a time. Set up is very easy to do. You need to download the alexa app to use. I also use it to announce things to every device in the whole house! So handy!
