It’s awesome!! One of the best smart speaker!! Alexa is very smart!! It can help you do all kind of things and answer all kind of questions!! And it’s fun too!! And the speakers look good too!! Look like something from the future!! And the speaker sound quality is surprisely good!! Very big improvement from the previous one!! And the price is awesome!! Love it!!!

I love the echo dot. I have 3 & I bought this one for a friend. She loves it as well. Nice compact design with powerful sound. The sound is also clear. There’s so much you can do with it. Make shopping lists, play music, let Alexa read you a book and she also tells funny jokes. This little thing exceeded my expectations. Grab yours now.

Absolutely love it. Nice having her around to help with the simple things. Lights, music, and a wealth of knowledge. A pleasant goodnight followed by a routine that was created to turn off all lights and then light the way to the bedroom as well as a heating/cooling adjustment and some deep sleep music to fall asleep with, all set on her sleep timer.

Love Amazon Alexa products. I have a few of the different Alexa products. In my honesty opinion the echo dot is the best one. It’s a great low budget price compared to some of the other models. It isn’t as loud as the large ones. But it still does have a great volume range. I prefer having the dots and it’s more affordable to put in multiple rooms and get more benefits of what this device has to offer.

I received this as a free promotional item when I purchased a Fire TV. This is my second introduction to Amazon's Alexa integration products. It's great for controlling the new TV by voice (although the included remote with the TV also allowed this feature) Easy setup and took some reading of the manual with the Fire TV to figure out the integration. I can't say I would put this in every room of the house but an interesting addition to the TV. I was disappointed that the Fire TV I purchased would not integrate the sound very effectively. There is a WiFi option but the TV or the Dot would not support the connection regarding audio setup with the TV. My only audio connection with the Fire TV was via Bluetooth and for some reason the audio on the Dot was very low. So low that it was not usable for that purpose and I removed the Bluetooth pairing. Not sure what would need to take place to ensure WiFi audio pairing with a Fire TV but otherwise OK.

easy to set up, connects well, good sound, works well

Well not sure how fair it is to compare to first gen that looked like a hockey puck but love it. Was easy to configure since I already had Alexa configured for previous gen. All apps tied right back in. Sound from this little guy is so much better than previous gen. Got this one free with my tv and have another in my garage. Even when being purchased I think the price is fair.

Have several around the house. Latest update enables one to time the listening enjoyment. Small foot print enables it to be placed just about anywhere. Still, learning how to give directions is frustrating. For example, country gospel music is what I use to call southern gospel music. Appreciate the periodic notices as to all it can help me with.

Got it for free with my insignia tv purchase. Learning to control the tv with it. The best part of it is I programmed it to wake me up in the morning and can’t do it without it now! My iPhone yelled at me. Alexa is so sweet! Use it to pay relaxing songs to go to sleep! Love it

This was my second Echo Dot as I had gotten one on special from Amazon. Love having it my bedroom to listen to music/sounds at night and control my smartbulb. Very nice on these cold Wisconsin nights to be snuggled up and voice control my lamp. Lots of other skills and features to use too. Set up was a breeze. Plug in and open the Alexa app to find new device. That's it.

So far so good. I only bought because it was on sale for a great price, but found so many uses. I also got a free light bulb and put it in my attic so now I can have Alexa turn on my attic light without me having to go up and fumble around in the dark for the string. Was going to add a switch in the garage but this was way cheaper with more options.

the amazon-echo dot is an essential part of my home. We find so many uses that we decided to give one to a friend that did not have one. We use the echo dot as a speaker, a timer, an essential part of home automation, a master of all knowledge, a pleasant way to wake in the morning and a cooking assistant.

I'm not good with technical devices, and actually resisted getting this as a gift, but when it came as a bonus with my tv, I set it up with great ease and LOVE IT!!!! Versitile to use with my Fire tV, orr just to plat my favorite music, find out about weather, sports scores, or even as an alarm cloce to whatever sound or song you like!!!! You will LOVE Alexa too!!!

This is a great smart device. Loved how easy it was to setup and all the features and functions that it has. It comes in very handy at home, especially now that I have added a few smart plugs around the house to control lights and other devices. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a small compact speaker with very good sound quality for its price!

I was very impressed with the build quality and output sound of the speaker. This little speaker packs a good punch for its size and price. I now have owned them for over 2 years so I can vow for their quality. Having the Alexa functionality in your home is very convenient. I started with one and now I have 3 echos, a nest, 3 fire TV’s, and light switches all over my home controlled by Alexa. I can get in bed at night and turn off all the lights with just a voice command. Now that’s living in 2020. I gave it 4 stars and not five because of Alexa. Sometimes she just stops working for now reason.

I like my Echo dot,because it wakes me up in the morning, I can play music anytime I want,I can tell it to remind about events through the day, so I don't miss anything important.My Echo dot is very dependable and accurate, I will always know what the weather is like outside before going. Easy set up, the echo dot works so well. I feel I am never alone :-)! It plays music when I take a shower, it tells me all I need to know, from NPR to different kinds of music, and best of all, it never complains! It does not feel insecure I have another dot, and it doesn't complain when I dont feel like talking to it. The echo dot knows it is all about ME! :-)

The Echo dot is very convenient, you can start your music, you can change your home temperature (i have an eco bee 4), you can check your amazon orders, check the weather and etc. easy to change places, if you want to bring it to your bathroom and listen music to while you shower yiu can, if you want to cook listing to your echo you also can. Very easy to use and a great help during the day.

I currently have an Insignia Google home smart speaker which I love but this Echo Dot is fantastic!, It has better compatibility with a lot more smart devices than Google Home, the sound is nice and crisp for such a small device I paired this with my thermostat, Ring cameras and my Samsung Powerbot and everything works great just with a voice command I can get everything started.
