Just took a little while to get used to asking Alexa to do something. Works great.

Great price and the bass on the Echo was much better than I thought it would be...

Big improvement is sound quality and aesthetics vs the 2 gen and I bought a bunch of them as gifts without any complaints.

... at people who used Alexa. I guess it's because I never had. Of all the consumer-marketed speech recognition I've used recently, she is simply the best. I really want to embrace the Samsung world since I have so much of their stuff, but Bixby just doesn't doesn't know me like Alexa does. Even without Amazon music unlimited, Alexa can usually find some music that doesn't induce nausea (now if my wife could only learn that skill...). I could go on and on, but I can't possibly convince you of how cool this is. Just spend the 40 or 50 bucks and see for yourself.

The sound is very clear, and I like the fact that it's hands free with Alexa.

This is our first device like this and the whole family loves it. We plan on getting a few more for the kids rooms so we can talk to them through it.

We use the "dot" for cooking timing, music and listening to PBS. It takes up little space and can time several events at the same time.

This is my 3rd dot... Great for drop in communication with the kids or for playing music in all rooms of the house.. Fun to talk to also!

Love my Alexa. I have one in every room. Recommend for setting timers, listening to music or just basic questions. You will never feel alone.

This echo is a great product, gives the kids tons of fun asking it questions and dancing to the music. It is easy to turn off yet I choose to unplug when not in use. It sets on a dresser in the corner of a room and have not had any issues with it.

This is a great gadget. I use it all the time for music and news. The small size makes it easy to put anywhere in my home.

Great purchase, low price. I have it synch in my room and i have not had any issue.

Easy to use alexa device that i find myself using everyday now. My only issue is that when listening to podcast or music, sometimes the treble is drowned out by the bass. Not sure if there's a setting to adjust, but out of the box a little its just okay.

The 3rd Gen Echo Dot has substantially better sound quality than previous gens. It works great for bedrooms where the bigger Echo would be overkill.

Love the ease of use & setup. Alexa provides daily weather/temperature updates, or our favorite music in a flash!!

Simple and easy to use. Once you have one you want each room equipped.

Worth it! It makes the life easy. Just need to run the mouth. The only thing is we have to plug in the switch all the time.
