The quality of the sound coming out of this little device is pretty darn good, but in case you didn't know, it's just a speaker. It came with the TV for no good reason. You can't use this speaker to control the TV - yeah, I tried that. I honestly have no idea why anyone would want to talk to a speaker, that then tries to run apps on your phone. It's just much easier to use the controller. The speach recognition of all players just isn't where it needs to be in order to keep from getting totally frustrated, finding yourself swearing at the machine.

This is my second ecco dot. Great little speaker and sound. Very small and inconspicuous. Must have if you use Alexa.

This dot has been awesome. It does soooooo much stuff that I'm blown away. It's like my own personal assistant. You will not be disappointed with this purchase.

It works as expected. Use it every day to turn on lights and listen to music. Integrated well with TP-Link Smart Plugs. Easy to connect other apps.

I have three of these in my house. Super easy to install. Good sound quality. It’s about the size of a tea cup saucer for reference.

Originally I thought these little things were a joke, but I have two now and I honestly think they’re the biggest lift to my smart home system. Having them around the house makes it possible to hear the door bell ring in any room. I love giving commands in normal voice to turn on and off the lights... and my favorite Command of all... “Play Howard Stern”. Their size makes them so discrete that they vanish behind the coffee maker or the tv and you forget they’re even in the room making it feel like the walls can talk! Great product!

Big fan. Just get one and you'll be intrigued. Get a few and group them and it's better. Add devices you can control (plugs, light bulbs (including brightness and color), security camera, sprinklers, garage door, fans, etc.) and you'll be hooked. Add IFTT controls (mine turns my lights blue when BYU wins their game), setup routines (I say "Alexa Emergency" and every light turns on, the show turns to full volume, then it issues a warning (intruder alert, the security footage has been sent to the cloud, the cops have been called. Intruder alert--then it plays LOUT sirens). Now you are cool.

This product is easy to set up and works with other Amazon products. I use this with a smart plug to remotely turn things on and off. I highly recommend.

We bought ours when they had the half price sale. I dont think I would pay the fifty dollars they sell for. But if your like my wife and dont want the phones in the bedroom. It's a good alarm clock with different ways to wake someone. Or play white noise/ocean/music for sleeping. Asking questions results in interesting responses about 20% of the time and needing to ask again. Overall if you want a home charging station outside of the bedroom but still want access to news, weather, and internet searches. This is a good product. Again, just wait for the sales.

Hooked it up to my big stereo. Hooked up easily and was working within just a few minutes. Sounds great!

Very simple to set up, this device has surprisingly good sound quality for its size. We're having lots of fun with thing. So much, that we bought a second one.

I know that there’s a later model but I like the sound from 3 better than 4, better price and the size fits where I want to use it.
