I'm a bit addicted to the convenience of these smart devices and the ease they contribute to our family life. One of the advantages is not having to YELL for another family member or call them on the phone... as we have the devices on every floor and even in the basement laundry room and garage. We all appreciate being able to just ask questions, about the weather, about news reports... And also hands free calling to other family members without even using a phone! This is good for setting alarms and countdowns for cooking times so we don't overcook the pasta! The more we use it the more ways we think of to use it. We can play any radio station, practically, anywhere in the country or around the world just by using the call letters for the station. REALLY fun... I've snagged all of my Echo and Show devices during holiday sales which really does also make these attractive to give for the holidays. You just have to be certain that the recipient is going to be happy to receive one. I have a few friends who are not so comfortable with these listening devices in their homes. I was able to give one as a gift to a friend who has a FIRE TV but does not have the internet. He watches TV using an antenna but appreciated this device to link to the TV as an additional speaker.

I ordered the twilight blue Echo Dot and love the color. It blends in nicely with the decor. This speaker sound is impressive for such a small little dot! I have several throughout the house and love being able to play music from my spotify library throughout the house. Love filling the house with music while getting ready for work or cleaning the house - whatever I'm doing it's great to have my music playing while I work.

I absolutely love Amazon Echo dots. The sound from this speaker is amazing. I brought it for my boyfriend since i know he enjoys listening to music. It’s one of the best. It’s amazing how something so small can produce sounds so vivid. I would recommend it. It’s affordable & worth it.
