It's ok wish Alexa would carry out what's asked instead of not doing anything but ding sometimes

Replaced a 2nd gen echo dot and really like the new dot. It has about the same response time, but the sound is much better, deeper bass.

Ball seems to be reliable and has good quality sound. User friendly and has decent sound. Better than first generation “puck.”

Love the Amazon Echo Dot. I have one at home and my husband has one on his desk at work. It is super easy to link your XM account. I frequently use it via bluetooth to my phone to listen to podcasts as I work from home.

Nice addition to our other Amazon Echo Dots, like the new round shape but disappointed that the version with the clock was unavailable.

Ever since I bought this little guy, all I’ve wanted to do was upgrade everything in my home to smart devices. Great device from Alexa and Google. Saved my life with the routines, alarms, timers, sleep noises, and weather reports. Definitely recommend everyone go out and get one if they don’t.

Great speaker quality for such a small cheap device. My smart home is controlled with other Alexa devices so this was a great addition.

This came with my ring camera and prior to receiving it I had no intention of making my home a smart home. The speaker is great and has great audio even at high levels. The ability to have it integrate my ring camera and play a chime when the doorbell goes off is awesome!

Design cosmetically speaking is way better, just sound is not the same, everything else works exactly the same as previous generations

I have the 3rd generation echo dot and this is very similar. The big difference is the size is a bit better. Overall I enjoy using it!

No issues with it, works well in the bedroom on the dresser. I think I prefer the previous generation's smaller footprint better. The previous generation also has multiple outlet holder options where this would look quite odd on a wall (device is the size of a softball).

Good product! Audio sounds good, and cool design. However, there's a little delay sound of music when using in group speakers mode.

I bought this because I liked the aesthetic better than my previous Echo Dot. It pairs great with my Bluetooth speaker and works great with smart light bulbs. I kind of wish the notification light ring was near the top, which would make it easier to see since I put mine on a shelf.

This works great and sounds a bit better than the prior generation Echo dot. Not a top end speaker but it’s worth the price.

The kids love that they can tell Alexa to play the songs they want to sing along with. I love the microphone silence option. I have older generation Echo devices and this was a gift for a friend who enjoyed mine. I wish amazon offered a buyback program so I can upgrade my echo and dots.

My grandson Lukas has really been getting into electronic devices... So for Christmas this year, we thought an Echo Dot (4th Generation) would be a great gift... Now he can use the “Alexa” feature... He was so happy to open his gift to reveal this! It made this MiMi and Pop-Pop so glad!

My husband bought 3 of these as gifts for family members (including me) and I love ALEXA. We have timers for music in the morning, If my hands are full I could easily ask what time is it, my phone normally does that but if the phone is locked you would have to unlock it.

Great tool for my 100 year old aunt. She can make voice activated phone calls (gotta give alexa her own Google phone number though ☹) and she can ask it questions. She couldn't remember the name so we were able to change it to another of the 3 or 4 preselected wake up words
